We stayed at the Tsuruga resort and Shikotsu and thought the brand should provide us with assurance that it will be a nice stay. We were not proven wrong. The environment was fantastic and the food was great (half board). However this is an older property and thus not as modern looking as the one at Shikotsu. I am sure to check out other Tsuruga resorts on the island.

It was an amazing stay at MorinoUta. We chose buffet at dinner but it was one of the best buffets ever. Atmosphere and facilities are also great. I definitely visit there again. This hotel was an excellent value for money.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Service: Mr. Takeyama at the front gate was really nice and came down to help us move the bag in the snow when we were coming in. Ms. Minoshima at the front desk was friendly, spoke good English, and was clear when we had any questions. Food: The buffet restaurant was much better than I expected. My family also enjoyed different kinds of menu during the stay. Onsen & Lobby: The outdoor onsen was an interesting experience, and recommend trying it. My child especially enjoyed the marshmallow time at the lobby. Room: Deluxe Japanese & Western style Room was very clean with a good view. They also prepared a robe for each of my family with a different size.
