I had a really great room, super clean, not huge but enough size to not feel squished, super central and walkable to everything and a metro station right outside the hotel.

Excellent location, nice sized rooms and great service! Conveniently located next to a 7-Eleven and connected to a Starbucks. The Karasuma line had a train stop right in front of the hotel. Quick walk to Nishiki Market as well! Would definitely stay at Karasuma Kyoto Hotel again!

The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. There are many options for nearby food like starbucks and traditional restaurants, as well as nearby family mart and 7/11 convenience stores. The entire hotel was clean and room service was done often. The room was big and spacious with a big bathroom with a heated bidet toilet. The beds were also comfortable with plenty of light and a big window. Transportation was very close too with multiple bus stops and transit routes. The hotel was also really close to Kyoto Station making transportation and rail transfers easy.

Excellent property, directly above Shijo stn, even if have large luggage or wheel chair easy to access hotel. Surrounding is great many things to see & experience. Will come back again

Great location for restaurants and shopping. 10-20 min walk to shopping area. Definitely close to nishiki market which was a great experience and definitely a must visit place for food and souvenirs shopping. The hotel itself was great and staff was very polite.
