We booked our stay to experience a traditional Ryokan and are so glad we did!
From the moment we entered the building, the staff made us feel welcome, were incredibly attentive and the picture of Japanese service standards, which are so much higher than what we are used to in Europe! We were incredibly impressed with the meals in general, but particularly the dinner was outstanding. Our waiter made the experience extra special and we loved the pride with which he explained the dishes to us as well as the food presentation. Dinner is served in a private dining room opposite the rooms. The rooms are spacious and very clean. We would highly recommend to book this place if you’re up for a truly Japanese experience. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

玄関を上がってからエレベーター内も廊下も部屋も畳で大変気持ち良く、お部屋の中にある個室ダイニングルームでのお食事も美味しく、とてもゆったりと快適な滞在となりました。
大浴場に行く際に使う素敵なカゴが浴衣セットと一緒にお部屋に置いてあり、テンションが上がりました！
シャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディソープを部屋風呂用にフロントで貸していただきました。かわいい小さなボトルに入っていて、感動しました。
露天風呂と大浴場の間の網戸が修理されていたら、全て5スターにしました。

露天風呂に温度維持の為のカバーが掛かっていたのには幻滅した。全く風情が無かった。他が良かったのに、露天風呂のせいで再訪はないかなと思った。とても残念。

田沢湖駅と旅館の間の無料送迎（要予約）があるので、たいへん助かりました。田沢湖まで徒歩1分です。食事はグループごとに個室で取ることができて、くつろげます。秋田名物を食べることができました。冬だったので寒くて、露天風呂は一瞬しか入れませんでしたが、温泉は広くてゆったりできました。

Although it is far away from main cities, it is still easy to get access from Tokyo or Sendai from direct Shinkansen train. The location of the hotel is very nice. It is just a few steps away from the lake Tazawako. They served very yummy local cuisine too. Staff are all professional and helpful.
