I really enjoy my stay in K's hostels Kyoto. It is near by the Kyoto Station. It fulfilled my need on comfortable but cheap place to stay. it was very clean. The functionaries were very friendly. I like the kitchen and the family room. Feel like at home. K's Hostels will be my first choice in my next trip to Japan. I would recommended this place to my friends

Functional. Staff were helpful. Room smelled like cigarettes despite a clear "no smoking" sign. Showers weren't too busy and work fine. It's very convenient that they have a little pizza-ish restaurant/pub right next door, esp. if you get in late and just want to eat without thinking about it.
