I especially appreciated the breakfast buffet. The room was smaller than I thought it would be but adequate and had all the amenities I needed. I would definitely stay here again.

When I told Japanese friends I had booked a hotel at Shinjuku, they looked at me like I was crazy, and like “you will not sleep”. Nothing father from the truth. The hotel is in a quiet corner of crazy Shinjuku. Close to the small Okubo metro station (so you can avoid the main Shinjuku station which is enormous). Staff are super attentive. Room I booked was small but functional. Breakfast was excellent. The only inconvenience is that their wifi is slow. Video calls kept dropping. I followed staff members recommendations to restart my phone and it improved, but the next day it was back to slow. Besides that, a perfect place to stay if you want to experience a Tokyo that is less polished and aseptic than Ginza.

The breakfast was of good quality and varitety. The rooms were small (even if for Japan is normal) and a bit dusty. The area around the hotel was characteristic, but not the best one. Unfortunately we made the check-in late in the evening so we hadn't had the chance to have the free drink (it was too late and the bar was closing): it would be better to extend the possibility to have the free drink one of the other days of one's staying, not only during check-in day. The staff was friendly and available, even if during the check-in they seemed a little bit annoyed.

We liked the cleanliness of the hotel and downstairs bar for happy hour. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
The neighborhood is a bit sketchy although walkable to many interesting places, and the size of the room was tiny for a family of 4.

Hotel has nice decor and close to many shops and restaurants. Nightlife around the area springs into action every night. Staff are friendly and helpful. They helped with our luggage forwarding and even helped with our call to airline company to make changes.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location near food and rail stations. Very walkable, area was a little sketchy in some parts but felt very safe during the day and depending on which way you went, safe at night as well. Tasty breakfast. Overall would surely recommend to friends/family.

Good hotel overall but not perfect for Westerners in our 50s who didn't love sitting on the floor to eat and sleeping just a few inches from the floor. The room was clean and stylish - just not ideal for older joints. We loved the bathroom, though, with its soaker tub and shower. And Water pressure in Japan is so much stronger than we're used to in California. And the water gets hot quickly and stays hot.
