We want to give the hotel Onyado Nono Kanazawa natural hot spring more than five stars. We were greeted with “Have a nice day” and “welcome back” with the staff’s smiles during our stay. The place was lovely and clean, and it came with lots of extras. Room wear and bath amenities were available for the stay. We used them to go into a spacious hot spring. Free ice cream or a probiotic drink after the hot bath was provided. The hotel also offered a free half-bowl of delicious ramen as a night snack. The hotel also provided free washing machines ( dryers pay $1 for 20 20-minute cycles) so we could have clean clothes on our trip. The areas in the hotel were beautifully decorated, emphasizing Japan's beauty. We enjoyed the morning breakfast buffet with fresh seafood and other delicious dishes. We hope to come back and use the hotel.

The staff was very welcoming, and the property was clean. The amenities are great - drinks in the lobby, popsicles and yogurt drinks at the onsen, ramen noodles and toiletries as needed. We found the onsen to nice but very busy at times, so we tried to go when we thought less people would be there. Breakfast was wonderful! Our daughter’s loved the matcha and hot chocolate. In Japan you most likely need to book kids over the age of 13 as an adult. Double check with the property details on this.

Wonderful and comfortable stay in a very convenient location - close to train station and many of the local sites, markets, restaurants nearby. Walked to the gardens and the markets with lots to snack! Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is excellent with so much variety to choose from and many traditional Japanese delicious items. Ofuro was wonderful also with well stocked amenities. Would recommend this place to all. We liked that they had no shoes policy in their property.

We were a family of 10, ages 9-78 and this hotel was fun for each of us. Rooms are tiny but we were out during the day, then spent our evening in the onsen or the cafeteria. The 9pm ramen is great for hanging out after onsen and before bed, breakfast is excellent with so many options.

A very interesting experience. No shoes allowed at all inside the hotel. It’s amusing to see all the guests in slippers or socks including in the elevators and in the lobby. There is also the habit of people wandering in their kimonos which are provided by the hotel in order to access the onsens. The onsen was excellent and very high end. The restaurants in the area were a bit limited. No cute little streets and alleys full of restaurants . We were very close to interesting sites to visit. The only complaint is when using the toilet the hall light was movement triggered and would come full on. It could be a problem for light sleepers.

Excellent traditional hotel with onsen and strict no shows inside pomicy. They offer many nice little gratuities that make one feel appreciated: probiotic veberage in the morning, ice cream in the afrernoon and soup at night. The fact that guests are encouraged to walk freely in the hotel wearing pjs is very funny. Room is not big but comfortable if you are ok with low beds. Locarion is grest! Uh

Onyado Nora is an interesting venue for tourists to immerse yourselves in a Japanese style hot spring inn. You leave your shoes in a locker at the front and are provided with Japanese style pyjamas and socks to wonder around the facility. There are separate hot spring bath for men and women. The baths are sans bathing suits. The inn is located a short walk to the palace area. My spouse loved the breakfast as it a has a large amount of options including sashimi, tempura as well as some western options. Kanazawa has a lot of small restaurants and you should consider booking them in advance if you are travelling in a busy season.
