If you know Japanese hotel rooms, you know they are small. This hotel was not that. You get a little kitchen area to cook, also a washer for your clothes (dry your laundry in the shower area by using the dry fan and the hanging attachment). A couch with small table and a bed that was very comfortable, it also came with a small balcony/lanai to take in some fresh air. This place came in clutch, Kyoto was the last leg of our Vacay as we spent 15 days in Vietnam Able to knock out some laundry was huge. It almost felt liked we were living in Kyoto for the few days we were there. Made all of our breakfasts in the kitchen. Lawsons and other convenience stores, as well as Don Quiote all within 3 blocks walking. Kyoto station just about a 10 minute walk. Also the bus to/from Gion area if i recall, the 207/206 is 1 corner away from the hotel.

My stay was excellent. The place was very clean, well located, and exactly as shown in the photos. The host was very friendly, attentive, and always available to help at any time. I felt right at home. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it 100%.

Very clean, compact, safe and quiet.
The area is close to the Kujo station, one stop from main Kyoto station. The area is not as lively or as beautiful as others but feels safe at night. My only suggestion would be to make it more beautiful inside with some art on the walls or plants on the balcony.

We had a great stay in x3 rooms. It wasn't clear from Hotels.com that these are small apartments rather than hotel rooms so that was a nice surprise. The rooms were clean and quiet, wish the water had been a bit hotter but no major complaints and we would stay again if in the area

This property was a convenient walk to Kyoto Station, but the area around the property didn't offer much--very few restaurants, cafes, bars, no parks. Not charming at all, same with the unit. The price we paid was way too high for the quality of the property and the area. But we booked late and it was a busy time, so I was not shocked that the price was jacked up.

Very basic hotel bordering on a Homestay rather than a hotel. Room was comfortable and we appreciated the kitchenette and washing machine. Close to Kyoto station so transportation was great. The area was nice and quiet - in a neighborhood but many food options in the station and of course 7/11 nearby. Towel changing was a bit inconvenient if you woke up late and missed the 10 am cutoff. Overall, it was safe, clean and quiet but if you’re looking for more of a hotel feel this likely isn’t for you. I would stay again however.

It's a place to stay if you need it. Has laundry, kitchen, if you need more of an apartment than a hotel. 14-20min walk from Kyoto station, a few min walk from bus stations and the closest sub station. They don't always refresh the towels, and staff are hard to reach if they're not available for the day, so there's that.

불만사항은 오후 3시~밤10시까지 체크인을 해주시는 직원분이 계셨는데 4박 5일간 최소 2명이 시간을 지키지 않고 빨리 체크인 마감을 했습니다. 체크인 전에 짐을 맡기는건 안전하니 그냥 로비에 놓고 다녀오라고 합니다. 전날에 체크인 관련 메일 보냈다는데 안 왔어요. 전화해서 메일로 재전송 요청했더니 3시에 사람 오니까 그때 체크인하라고 했어요.
그걸 제외하곤 방이 청결하고, 침대도 푹신해서 편했고 세탁기로 빨래하고 바로 건조시킽 수 있는 룸이어서 좋았습니다. 장기숙박에 적합한 숙소인게 사용한 수건을 바구니에 넣고 밖에 두면 새것으로 교체해주셨고, 요청사항도 적어서 넣어두면 잘 반영이 됩니다.

Based on property information, front desk suppose to be open at 9:00am but no one was there. There was no communication and we have to contact the property via email. No one is available at check out either. We have to drop cash for unexpected tax charge in a box with the key. We do not like to pay this way. There is also a pile of trash in front every day we were there.
