This place is in a quiet area in Yufuin. Open fields and mountains in the background give you an amazing view from your room for sunsets, or sunrises. The staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. This is secluded enough to enjoy a quiet stay, but still be close enough to drive to Beppu and Oita to enjoy the city attractions.

Basically it's really great: Japanese taste, Good hot spring, informative front desk, and so on. While the WiFi speed was a little bit slow, and it's a little bit far from the city central and station. Yufu here is actually a countryside so most of the shops and restaurants are closed after 5 p.m.

Truly amazing! It offers perfect orientalist views from both inside and outside. You can see Yufu mountain top from the little Japanese garden outside the main entrance. The breakfast is a germ too.

The hotel is located in a quiet area but just a 10 minute walk to the train station and the shopping area. Our room had a nice mountain view. The hotel has 3 private onsens which are used for shower as well.

Wonderful place to stay in Yufuin. It is a bit away from the main street so it is very quiet and peaceful. Onsens (indoors and outdoor) experience were wonderful. The owners were really kind and helpful with instructions on the city's attractions and several important locations. The station is about 10 minutes away, so easy to reach. The best experience is the morning bento, which was of the highest qualities and with the great view towards the garden.
I would visit again for sure.
