Love it, in the centre of Ueda, and closed every where. Just 1 minute walk to Ueda station. You could use Shinkansen from here to Nagano or Tokyo. The room very clean, but small enough. And very comfortable. The staff very helpful

View from the room is gorgeous.
Service is one of the best.
Room is NOT small.
Hotel is located right front of Ueda station of Shinkansen.

nice location ,,but the parking lot they said it’s worth ¥600 for a night but i paid ¥900,, even though i showed them my parking lot they ignored,, staff need to be more friendly,, great room with touch of class and i can say it’s really clean and comfortable to stay

Soutetsu Fresa was a wonderful stay. We checked in at night and a baby bat was outside on the sidewalk. That was fairly shocking! The bed was firm yet supple. No complaints here, I had a great time.

The hotel did the job, however it was not easy to find by car & once you have parked up in the adjacent car park, it is also unclear as to where you need to go in order to reach the connecting hotel.
Better signage would be really useful.
The hotel itself is fine & serves its purpose. It won’t live in the memory for any good or bad reasons.
