The Gate Hotel by Hulic in Ginza is a very good hotel. It is a beautiful modern new hotel with a great view of Ginza area. The location also very strategic as it is located next to Tokyu Plaza Ginza, a great place to find variety of food, starting from basement level (for more casual food) up to upper level (for more upscale restaurants) and also a high end shopping malls. I was staying in their triple rooms which is a very big & comfortable room. The bed size were also bigger than most hotel in Tokyo I believed. The Hotel staff have a very good English, they also help me out to send my big luggages to Osaka, right in their Reception Lobby as my family and I were taking Shinkansen from Tokyo. Definitely The Gate Hotel would by my preferred hotel if I stay in Tokyo again

The best thing about this hotel is its location. There’s a metro station just outside the hotel building’s entrance and it’s strategically located near Ginza5 and other shopping centers. Very friendly staff and clean rooms add the wonderful experience. Price is also reasonable and very much worth the experience that you’ll be getting.

This hotel was perfect for me and my husband. Canopy room was big and comfy. Service was excellent and arranged to have our luggage delivered to the next hotel. We had a room that wasn’t on the side of the trains so noise was not a problem at all. Location you can’t beat and was easy to get anywhere in Tokyo. Breakfast was great too!

Exceptional in every way! Wonderful staff throughout hotel. Stayed in a superior room - most comfy bed, great amenities. Soft and comfortable 2-piece pajamas and bathrobe. Good size double sink bathroom with separate area for toilet and separate area with bathtub & shower. Great breakfast - order from menu and breakfast buffet. Ideal location in heart of Ginza. I’d stay here again.

Close walk to a few malls, and walkable to Tokyo Station. Also a local subway line right out front. Nice view of the Ginza area, and a very comfortable lounge area.

It is in the perfect location, walkable to all locations.
The facilities is clean and well maintained. But some small items' quality are not compatible with this level of hotel such as the hair dryer, the function of the auto toilet, espresso machine, or the slippers. Those things can be upgraded a little with the price i am paying for this hotel.

The hotel is located right above subway station, so we didn’t need to walk much. The room was reasonably spacious for Ginza and had modern clean design. The deluxe double room had double vanity, and it was so convenient for two girls to share. We booked breakfast for all 4 mornings on this trip, but I might skip next time if I stay here again. They were good, but we got tired of somewhat heavy main course. We were wishing there were Japanese breakfast.
For us, this hotel was the first place that had trash bags to separate recycling items. We care about sustainability, so that’s very important for us. I really appreciate their effort. Two thumbs up!

We loved the Gate Hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful! We booked a triple room and although we thought it could be tight, it was surprisingly roomy. The bathroom was big too, with a double sink. This truly helped with three adults in the room!

This is my second stay at The Gate Hotel Tokyo. This time, I stayed at one of their Modest rooms, and it's great for a solo traveler. The room that I was given did faced the train tracks, so light sleepers beware! I also loved the location of the hotel that's right by the edge of busy Ginza - not only do you get plenty of F&B options around, there's also plenty of retail businesses to shop till you drop. The room sizes, though small by US standards, are adequate. Compared to my first stay, the front desk staffs have indeed improved in their efficiency and language skills. They have been nothing but helpful and pleasant to interact with. Housekeeping was great too, keeping my room clean throughout my entire stay! The only con that I can think of is the price. This hotel is getting more expensive and at the prices that they are currently charging, one might be tempted to stay at another hotel of a similar, if not better, calibre, but at a lower price. As for me, I would continue to be a repeating customer as long as the price is reasonable!
