The Peninsula Tokyo beautifully blends old-world elegance with a prime location near the main shopping district and overlooking the Imperial Palace. The staff provided exemplary, personalized service from the moment we arrived and made us feel truly valued. Fabulous breakfasts and Tenichi tempura restaurant is undoubtedly the best in the world. Great hotel. Love the door-ladies in their crisp white uniforms!

Very nice hotel in good condition considering - our room was probably last renovated in the early 90s. Based on the older models of tv in bathroom etc. services were great as well. Great location convenient to Gonzalez and imperial palace.

We expected a seamless luxury experience at The Peninsula Tokyo, but unfortunately the service did not match the price. An almost $1,000 concierge-arranged private tour felt under-planned and finished well before the full time was used, and the communication beforehand was unnecessarily stressful with repeated mentions of possible extra charges. We also had to wait for dinner on our first night. After this stay, I better understand some of the lower online reviews. Next time in Tokyo, I would choose a different hotel.

Loved the care from the staff at this hotel. From the guys at the front door, to the gorgeous girls in white operating the rotating girl, front desk team, restaurant staff, spa staff, room service - faultless. I felt so recognized and valued. The hotel breakfast is lovely, as was room service and is well located near Ginza. The design is a little dated but in pristine condition, and the customer care more than compensated. Well done to whoever is training the team! And thank you.

This is truly THE place to stay in Tokyo. Great location. Their service was simply superb and amongst the best in Japan; this is really saying something as Tokyo in general has some of the best staff and service in the world. I needed express dry cleaning and the turnaround time was 50% faster than advertised! The bar up on the top floor (George’s I think) was also excellent.
