my wife and I stayed only for 1 nite, the hotel is close to station and very clean, it was oke for me, but the bed was a bit soft, maybe because it was an old spring bed, therefore when we got up in the morning, we were abit uncomfortable. the pillow was hard too....

It is quite convenient to move around the city of Tokyo as it is close to the subway station which has a good connection to several different lines. The members of the hotel are kind and helpful.
The room is clean and well maintained, and also quiet.

Pros: great area and updated bathrooms, free wi-fi
Cons: Had to pay for TV (so just used my computer, and the hallways smelled like smoke. I had a non-smoking room, so that was good.

The hotel is fine for the price. I first stayed here 20 years ago. It is getting a bit dated, but frankly it has all the features you need, the staff are very helpful especially for someone knowing no Japanese and the location is very convenient, just a short cab ride to the Tokyo Station and a walt to Ueno Park.

古いホテルみたいですが、リニューアルされていて古さは感じません。
ナイトテーブル、ウォッシュレット、ＴＶは新しい機器です。
メイン道路側に面した部屋なので圧迫感もなく良い部屋でした。
残念なのは、冷暖房の温度調整が出来ずに風量調節のみ。暖房を切っても夜は暑く寝づらかったですね。
