We loved our spacious and clean premium 2 bedroom villa. The view from both bedrooms and outdoor seating area were simple gorgeous. The restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is limited but i liked the fact they don't have a huge variety and thus limit wastage. It would have been nice to have milk in the villa for tea/ coffee. We asked housekeeping for it but didn't get the milk. The shuttle service to the city centre and back was an added bonus. It would have been nice to have a covered vehicle since the approach road is very muddy.

We didn’t realise we were booked to stay in a tent, which l must admit we weren’t very keen on, particularly with the bathroom being outside of tent, a bit awkward if needed to use during night. Internet a bit flaky we were located some way from main area which may have been cause. The location was pleasant which overlooked river. Clean & comfortable. The restaurant was good and attractive. Also nice pool and surroundings, water very cold! The staff lead by Carl were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. We went on their private boat to Buddha cave which was lovely. Regular shuttles were available as town approximately 15 minutes drive away part of which was along a very rough road. If you want peace and quiet it’s an ideal place to stay.

Very unique, luxurious, gorgeous eco resort. Good food, lovely staff, beautiful grounds. It was above and beyond what I expected it to be. I stayed in the tents and it was comfortable and quiet. What a wondeful place to unwinds. They have two pools and a small sauna, a playground, yoga area, and many other areas to enjoy.

The property is very nice but I think there needs to be a buyer beware - the property is 15 minutes outside of town and you are beholden to The NamKhan shuttle service or you need to pay an overpriced fee to get back and forth. For example the last free shuttle returns from town at 6:00 pm and the night market starts at 5:00. It would be great if there was a free shuttle at 8:00 or 9:00 pm so you can enjoy the night market and the town. Of course if they offered that, the restaurant at the resort would take a hit. I would also disappointed that there were hardly any guest at the property during our stay. It is always nice to interact with other travelers. Finally, the resort charges an extra fee for so many things including yoga. The property is nice but you will be secluded from do much in the area.

Stayed solo here for a personal retreat. I’m a regular to LPB. Heard such great things about the serenity of the resort from friends so thought I’d try it out. Staff are helpful and accommodating, facilities are clean and well maintained, and breakfast was simple but good. The real winner is the massage therapist Daeng, she’s simply a pain relief magician. I wish I could do more on the resort but weather was perfect during the day time. My only issues: What is shown in the photos isn’t the same as what you’re actually staying in so please help management adjust accordingly (some folks may consider it borderline false advertising). I was in a room that had two beds and barely any natural sunlight, which seems like a missed design opportunity, but then when I asked to be in a quieter part next to the river, I was placed in an explorer tent which was quaint and fun but simply not functional with how cold it got at night and the lack of privacy with the open bathroom concept, which basically is a transparent curtain with plenty of mosquitoes and no privacy from above. There was a group who had a drone they were using on the property so I wasn’t comfortable knowing the open space in my room. Unsure if paying for riverfront should cost more if you’re in a tent but that was overall fun times.

Luxury in untouched nature We can absolutely recommend this paradise! We booked a tent directly by the river. It was very luxuriously equipped and had an own platform with a breathtaking view. We were actually surprised how spacious the tent was! The staff was very friendly and gave us good recommendations on what to do or where to go. We can recommend the kayaking or the waterfalls tour. It was very important for us to find place that offers also good vegan options in their menu as I am vergab and my boyfriend not. I have to say this lodge was an amazing choice. Both food options, regular and vegan were exceptional! Overall, a super nice experience. We will come back!

I loved staying at the NamKhan Ecolodge. Everything is new and the staff is amazing. The only real downside to staying at the hotel is that my room was air conditioned. I found that I didn't sleep well at night due to the lack of air conditioning. I really believed that I selected a room with air con, but I don't believe any of the rooms have it. I made this known to the staff and the said that they'd check to make sure the hotels.com ad details matched the reality of the rooms. They staff was also really open to constructive feedback because they are interested in making the visit great for guests. I loved the yoga, but wished it was included in the cost of the stay. The same with the tubing. I think the value would be better if a few lower cost activities were included in the stay. I liked the breakfast included and thought it was generous, but sometimes the items would be running out with an hour or more left in the breakfast time period. It seems like the items should be served differently to ensure that everyone gets all of the options available, not matter the time they come within the breakfast period. The food at the restaurant was very good. It's pricier than in town, but still worth the money and cheaper than at home. I had amazing pad thai, fried spring rolls, and a buddha bowl. All were delicious and were portioned generously. Had coronavirus not required me to go home at a moment's notice, I would have revisited Laos and the Ecolodge.

They offer a lot of activities around the site if you just wanna stay and relax. All in all i would highly recommend Namkham Ecolodge specially the Tents. It’s such a nice experience.

Had an amazing time. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. It’s a bit far from the downtown but they do provide shuttle if you need one for free on certain times. They offer a lot of activities around the site if you just wanna stay and relax. All in all i would highly recommend Namkham Ecolodge specially the Tents. It’s such a nice experience.
