The property is lovely with amazing views of the mountains (especially for sunset!), but it was the staff that made my stay:) Everyone I interacted with was so friendly, helpful and professional. Chang at the front desk and all the wonderful ladies at breakfast made this an exceptional stay.

The hotel is only 4 months old. Most rooms face the garden and swimming pool with a common balcony with a table and chairs outside each room. Rooms are spacious with air conditioning, Mini fridge, Kettle for coffee and tea, TV with no cable yet. The beds were comfy. Bathroom was a bit dimly lit with a very deep tub which is dangerous for the elderly and kids to step in. Water was not very hot. Breakfast was decent with eggs to order but no fresh juices. A free shuttle is available every hour to/from Vang Vieng town. Staff are helpful and doing their best to assist guests. Wifi was good in all areas of the hotel. Overall a good place away from the dusty town of Vang Vieng

There are plenty of little negatives that can be picked out behind the incomplete facades here but that seems pretty standard for SE Asia and so you just need to concentrate on the positives and enjoy yourself: The pool is nice and a good size, with loungers in the sun. The TV was not working. Staff gave no reason as to why it wasn't working. Breakfast was not the greatest. Coffee was the 3 in 1 mix. The hotel is a 10- 15 minute walk to the main streets. A good and spotless hotel that has some of the final fittings yet to be installed. Excellent rooms and good breakfast. Downside is that it is not in the location as shown on Hotels.com site. It is about a 20 minute walk away, although it did provide complementary transport every hour. I did contact Hotels.com about this and I am disappointed that they have failed to address it. Others that we spoke to also thought the hotel was in a different location. Another issue is that Vang Vieng is a backpackers destination and they can be a little rowdy at times. Though I didn't complain the hotel accepted rowdiness at 4 a.m.
