I had a short stay for transit to early flight in KLIA2. The hotel was great. One of the reasons, I chose this hotel because the hotel provides shuttle service for RM 6 for one person. I called to book before checking in. the receptionist said I need to book 2 vans because one shuttle can normally serve 6 people but my group consisted of 18 people. I booked 2 vans for airport transfer for a group of 18 people for RM 160. one of the driver was very impolite, Man with no smile and drove very fast. When, I arrived he asked me to pay for the ride and I said I had already paid with a male receptionist in the hotel, he didn't believe me and called his boss. His boss also asked me to pay, and I said again I had already paid. I said I had the receipt and showed it to the driver. I had no idea whether It was his way of trying to do a scam because I felt really intimidated by his way of asking. I was also wondering why he did not try to call the hotel instead of asking me so many times. I also felt relieved that I asked for the receipt and brought it. If only I lost the receipt I do not know what happen to me. They might even ask me to pay. Lesson of the day, I think the hotel have to choose the van they are associated with. for me, this experience really left a bad taste in my mouth. As a group of tourists visiting Malaysia, KL especially, I and my group did not feel welcome at all.
