Room as described. Three single beds, decent size, clean room. Bathroom is basic and shower only just does the job, but sufficient, just. location is fantastic and restaurant downstairs is decent with beer specials. Check-in easy. A good budget option in Kuching.

we stayed at John's place for 7 nights and we had a comfortable stayed. we booked triple rooms with 3 single beds and it was clean, the AC was working well, bathroom was clean and it was quiet. the old lady who stayed at the reception room was very kind and suggested several places around Kuching that worth visited. they provided simple breakfast with breads, cookies, tea and coffee and the location is very strategic, close to the waterfront of sarawak river, some good restaurants including topspot and one Indian restaurant that served good lamb curry. enjoyed my visit at john's place!

Location is quite strategic, easy nyari eat. Cleanliness is tolerable. It's just noisy if the night because near any disco and so that make that already sleep will be problematic.
