KK Marina Court Resort Vacation Condos

The stay is amazing since it is located in the middle of the town..

place, very nice, near town very clean

overall me and family was stay there. 1st we step on that room we feel the floor is not sweep or clean properly. all i can say is room not proper clean or ready to be used

Very convenient location. Within walkable distance to shopping malls and night market.

Plus 1.Spacious room space and beds which can accomodate up to 8 travellers. 2.Nice 3bedrooms apartment with refrigerator, washing machine, astro, cooking stuff etc 3.Outstanding, friendly and helpful receiptionist plus maintenance staffs Minus 1.Room lighting / bulb not clear and some of them is not working 2.No main curtain or no thick curtain. At night, people from other unit/building can see what are you doing or wearing. 3.Water at water tap in main master bedroom is very slow 4.Shower handle is broken hence it so difficult to use shower without it 5.No dustbin in both bathroom to throw unused personal stuff. You have to use common dustbin

the house so pretty and near by shopping mall. the kids was enjoy to swim too

worst ever.. no proper reception counter. one have to find out the the caretaking company and after all, they dont care about your stay. keys didnt worked.. water pressure very low and no reception contact

Staff were not friendly, no clear directions or instructions provided during check in

Booked 2 condos. 1 condo was clean and nice but the other was dirty with stained moldy bed sheets, the water pressure was low and the toilet door broken.

No housekeeping of the towels or change in bedsheets. Wifi router is out of service and not provided.

I had a 3 bedroomed condo apartment on the 10th floor. The apartment was large and in addition to the 3 bedrooms (all double beds) it had a large lounge area with satellite TV, a dining area with table seating 6 and a kitchen. One of the bedrooms was with a large ensuite bathroom with a toilet, bath and shower, there was also a seperate 'wet' bathroom with shower and toilet. The kithchen had a fridge/freezer and large gas stove with an oven but lacked basic cooking utensils and crockery and cutlery. The decor and all the furniture was very dated with the sofas in the lounge heavily stained. The apartment needs to be renovated. It was advertised as having a waterfront view which it did have when first built but now a new shopping mall built in front of the complex blocks out that view. Overall it was adequate and very cheap for a place for 6 people. Of note, this company shares a similar name to that of the Resort at the same location which has the main ground floor normal reception area. BUT this condo was run by a company which has units in a different block and the check in has to be done in one of the condo units on the 5th floor of Block 2 of this complex. This is NOT explained in the booking itinerary. Also, the access to the block 2 has an electronic lock so you have to call the telephone number on the booking itinerary to get them to unlock the ground floor access door to be able to get to the check in unit on the 5th floor. None of this is explained in the booking!

Rooms were spacious and reasonably comfortable. Kitchen poorly equipped. No signage to indicate check in area. Cleanliness very low standard. Location was great. Wouldn't stay there again.

Arrived at the Marina Court Resort after a long hike at Mt Kinabalu only to be told that our unit "has some problem". So she offered to move us to a hotel room. I verified there are 6ppl in my party, as indicated on the reservation, so the room must be able to fit all of us. Upon hearing that, she put me on hold for a minute then said she'd put us in another condo at a different location. This means she was not ready to receive us because she should've arranged for a replacement unit in advance of our arrival. This also led us to suspect perhaps she thought we weren't coming that night and gave our unit away to another customer (we arrived late around 9.30pm but it was still before the check-in cutoff time of 11pm). Since we were exhausted, we accepted her offer. The replacement condo is located on the outskirt of the city, not walking distance to downtown KK which is our main reason for choosing Marina Court Resort. It also did not come with free WIFI, the unit was smaller than Marina Court unit and the kitchen was not fully equipped (I had stayed at Marina so I have baseline comparison). Finally, we almost did not make it to the airport on time. The other condo's staff messed up our taxi order; we asked for 6-passenger van but got a 4-passenger car. Due to its remote location, calling taxi requires 20min wait. Yes the taxi mishap is not entirely KK Marina Court's fault, however had we stayed in the heart of KK, calling taxis would've been fast. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

not very satisfied as i need to change room every nite due to the room out of order.Both condo i stayed for two nite ,the master bedroom aircond was leaking and its make the carpet very smelly,as for another condo, also the master bedroom aircond broken,switch on whole nite but only warm air coming out.other then that,overall is still okay

Overall is not bad. But the water need to deeply service. Even thou already ask technician come to service but the water just heat awhile only. And please put some pail at toilet because not all children like to use shower flush.

Except for minor discomfort, relatively a nice stay

1. convenient n easy to access kk area 2. safety is guarantee 3. staff is friendly, apartment is clean

The service apartment is poorly maintained. Lots of ants in the apartment. The wooden flooring broken/loose. There was no water for 2 nights due to maintenance.
