My three-day stay at Macalister 288 was very comfortable. It's conveniently located near Island Hospital, my destination for my emergency room, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I was upgraded to a family room, which was more spacious. While breakfast wasn't provided, it wasn't difficult to find due to the hotel's convenient location, and the Onya restaurant next door serves delicious, affordable food. I'd definitely stay here again if I were in Penang again.

If you're seeking treatment at Island Hospital, staying at this hotel is very convenient because it's only a 2-minute walk. There's a restaurant downstairs that's quite tasty and affordable. The room was clean, but the bed wasn't very comfortable because the king-size bed was actually a combination of two single beds. The toilet was clean, but unfortunately, the shower didn't close, so water splashed everywhere, making the floor very slippery. Be very careful not to slip. There's only one elevator with a maximum capacity of 3 people, and the sound is loud enough to be heard from the room.

The room seemed simple but quite clean. The elevator only holds 3 people at a time. The staff were friendly. It's also quite close to Macalister 118, which is home to many dining options.

The elevator was broken for the entire 5 nights we were there, which was a real bummer. The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was comfortable. However, the windows weren't soundproof in the triple room. The noise of garbage trucks in the middle of the night was very disturbing. And there was the smell of food smoke coming from outside several times.

It is a guest house open to the public. It is located right next to the Catholic Diocese Center. Inaugurated in 1989, the guest house has three floors, with a restaurant and cafe on the first floor.

The hotel is close to the hospital. There's a delicious restaurant next door. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I got an upgrade to a family room upon check-in. Taxis are also easy to get.

It is a guest house open to the public. It is located right next to the Catholic Diocese Center. Inaugurated in 1989, the guest house has three floors, with a restaurant and cafe on the first floor.

My three-day stay at Macalister 288 was very comfortable. It's conveniently located near Island Hospital, my destination for my emergency room, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I was upgraded to a family room, which was more spacious. While breakfast wasn't provided, it wasn't difficult to find due to the hotel's convenient location, and the Onya restaurant next door serves delicious, affordable food. I'd definitely stay here again if I were in Penang again.
