What you see is what you get. The place looks exactly like the photo. Being so close to nature, the air is so fresh and cool that I had one of my best night sleep even without the aircon. My kids really enjoyed the pool and they like the dinner prepared by the kitchen too. The staffs are easy going and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay.

Had a pleasant and most relaxing stay at The Dusun. Booked into the Perling house which was situated amidst the forest overlooking the forest reserve. The pleasures of being able to read a book accompanied by the sounds of the jungle is non describable. The only thing to improve is probably to fix netting at all openings as bugs tend to fly in at night while sleeping. Even without it, I would still give this stay a five star rating. Totally recommended for those looking for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Don't forget the bug repellant!

Stayed at the Perling Air. Really amazed by the ambience and layout. On the first night, our neighbour left their bbq food exposed, this caused a rat to run into our room's ceiling beams, thankfully it didn't drop on us. Breakfast provided was sumptious and tasty. Friendly staff who assisted with our queries. Our movable shower head was broken. Felt like it could have been repaired previously. Tip would be to minimise lights at night as this attracts bugs. Good to bring yr own lemongrass repellent or essential oil diffuser to ward off all kinds of bugs and fat lizards. Overall, we loved the private setting and the serenity of The Dusun as we treasure peace and tranquillity, unlike some overcrowded and noisy resorts. Will make a come back. Be prepared to drive up steep and narrow road to reach destination.

Good place for city get-away, but do prepare snacks because middle of night to drive out for convenience store is far and danger in dark if you not familiar. Dinner and breakfast is well prepared in advance, somehow we find the chicken rendang is very very very salty .. thumbs up for the Nasi Lemak breakfast.

Serenity of the property is satisfying and food is good. Unfortunately, hospitality by the host and workers were disappointing as we felt that we were not welcome by the host. I chose this place as I wanted a short getaway with my family and we thought we could join the jungle tracking activities early next morning after 1 night stay, but we were told that we couldnt join the activity as it will take 3 hours and we couldnt make it back in time to check out because we were only staying for 1 night. On top of that, the room is not very clean with cobwebs seen everywhere. To make things worse, it was raining and cold, but the water heater was not working. When we checked with the host, she just mentioned that they have to get the technician to check another day (not immediately) and she was not apologetic at all. We had our dinner at their dining place while many others had theirs in their rooms. When the workers finished their work at abt 7+pm, they just left the dining without a word while we were still having our dinner. Are we expected to clean the dirty dishes ourselves? We were not told. Me and my family felt that we were getting the cold treatment from the host and workers probably because we were not their targeted guests, while other guests may have booked for much longer stay. There are other much better place elsewhere than this. It is not worth paying for the price.

Stayed in (Traditional House, 1 Bedroom, Kitchen, Hill View (Emas). Down stair room was a proper room but up stair one didn't had any door at all. It was an open place which means you need to sleep with insects. They have 2 pool which is 3min walk from this room which is nice enough to chill but too many mosquitoes. Overall so so experience but I wouldn't recommend to my friends.

Beautifully set, a true jungle experience. Staying in the house (Sora), it is uniquely designed. For a short visit this is a haven of tranquility. Pools are atractive and generally well maintained. Grounds are well maintained, and the staff friendly, helpful and courteous On the downside, the unique architecture of the Sora (open on one side) means it is uniquely exposed to the jungle and its insect inhabitants. Getting around at night, especially in the comfortable but trip hazard mezzanine flaw is difficult ...any light draws in the insects. The tight spiral staircase is a challenge every time. Although the house is spacious and comfortable its upkeep is not quite to the standard one would expect for a rental at this price and i suspect the more traditional wooden house offer as good an experience at a more appropriate price, and one slightly less as one with the insect community. Finally, my local friends were as impressed by the Nasi Lemak on Sunday as they were disappointed with the (no Nasi Lemak) the previous day! Overall it was a good weekend and worth the visit but doubt i would want to return
