Incredible 10 day stay at Kuramathi - with our 3 year old daughter! Highlights: We chose Kuramathi partly because of the kids club, which was even better than expected. It's much bigger than the website photos suggest, with two splash pads and a pool with slide, a garden, and lovely indoor play area. Our daughter loved it so much and kept requesting to go back. The staff are fun, caring and engaging. Huge thanks to Konnie, Rashma, Rachelle and Sara for making Wren feel so happy and secure. We were full board and ate at the buffet restaurants, rather than a la carte. The food was exceptional, better than any other buffet we have eaten at. The breakfast almond croissants deserve a special mention! The house reef is huge, wrapping three quarters of the island. While some parts have suffered slightly bleaching, there are numerous healthy varieties of coral. The fish life is incredible, and there is a huge population of black tip reef sharks. Access is easy from the beach or jetty - even our toddler could do it. Watching the black tips hunting fish from the jetty was such a highlight. Rasdhoo Dive Centre was excellent - we did a refresher dive on the reef, Wata was an excellent guide. We also did the Madivaru Dive, famous for white tip reef sharks, which was stunning. The excursions are excellent, well worth the money. We swam with manta rays on two separate snorkelling boat trips, which was an unforgettable experience.

After a horrific speed boat transfer from Malé to Kuramathi in storm conditions and rough seas in a small boat the rest of the visit was wonderful. We had a water villa with a pool which was sparkling clean. We were AI and the buffet meals were so delicious we never even tried any a la carte dining. Scuba and snorkeling was magnificent the diving center professional were so very kind and aquatic team for snorkeling made sure we saw plenty of turtles on our snorkel trip. Staff were so accommodating and friendly, we felt completely at ease. Thank you Kuramathi for a memorable trip.

Overall I think island is good comfortable bed and pool villa looks great but there are lots of small area needs to improve. Spa is outstanding massage Lots of mosquitoes I dont think the spray around. Plugs not working they still ate us alive tho. Welcoming was poor service not as you seen youtube. Honeymoon invitation was great but music was aweful with it. Tv sound is terrible. Buggy car has not timetable sometimes nothing sometimes a lot. Cocktails are great !! Housekeeper well talented!! Eco center shark program is great but other is ripp you off a bit ! They dont care if you are disappointed because they are fully booked Safitey said. Garden is amazing and well maintened! Lobby at the hudroplabe when we come is amazing !! We wont come back this island. For 20.000$ we would expect outstanding service. Only spa Cathy and Myo did wao service from begening to the end.

Kuramathi is a beautiful luxury resort. The beaches are long and uncrowded with swimming on one side if the island and reef snorkeling on the other. We had a Water Villa with pool...a large, clean modern space with a lovely bedroom and a huge bathroom overlooking our private deck and infinity pool. Pure luxury. Great choices in the buffet restaurant. Now for the disappointing part: The human element is completely missing here. No smiles or greetings from the staff, no sense of the hospitality and warmth we experienced on the Local islands. Kuramathi is a beautiful manufactured experience with no soul.

Me and my wife came on our honeymoon to Kurumathi, and it's one of the best decisions we've ever made. All the staff were excellent and very friendly. I would like to give a special mention to Thorgi, who serviced our room and 2 kitchen staff at Farivalhu restaurant (unfortunately i didn't make a note of their names). The resort's beautiful and exceeded our expectations, especially with providing snorkelling equipment as part of the all inclusive package. I would highly recommend the Thundi Water Villa with pool as the features that the room provided and it's price are unmatched by other resorts

The resort was nice, but honestly, we expected more. We stayed at Over the Ocean water villa, from where the view was amazing. But … the porch was not maintained well and part of the wood/thorn entered in my foot for which I needed to go to the hospital (to be fair they didn't make me pay the bill). Also, even though the view is amazing, The water near the water villas is dirty and full of soap, so you can't really enjoy it or enter directly (if not at 6 am). There was a big reef for snorkelling but the paths were not maintained well and almost every time you needed to step on a coral to arrive in the deep. Another thing that we really didn't like is that in our all-inclusive package, it was written that everything in the minibar is included, but when we arrived there only soft drinks were free in the minibar and there is a crazy system that they didn't replenish automatically the minimar but you have to order the drinks every time. Snacks are also not included in the all-inclusive package. On the other hand, the island is big and you have a lot to do even if it's raining. The stuff is amazing, the food was good and the excursions are amazing and must-see!

My wife and I had a great time at Kuramathi, we all had an unforgettable experience esp given it was to one of our first resorts. There was a lot to do which we didnt do, lol. We had enough time to walk around, go at the beach, go at the pools and have juices and food on the fly. That was enough to keep us occupied during the day and the jacuzzi in the room was enough to keep us occupied during the night after a long day of activities. Definitely would recommend.

The over water villa was amazing in terms of view, condition and size. Other than that the rest of the aspects were quite disappointing! Staff is not friendly and a but ignorant to requests/complaints. Food is not bad below the standard compared to other Maldives resorts. Spa experience was totally a waste of money. We went for our honeymoon and resort failed to create or provide anything special for us as honeymooners.

Incredible 10 day stay at Kuramathi - with our 3 year old daughter! Highlights: We chose Kuramathi partly because of the kids club, which was even better than expected. It's much bigger than the website photos suggest, with two splash pads and a pool with slide, a garden, and lovely indoor play area. Our daughter loved it so much and kept requesting to go back. The staff are fun, caring and engaging. Huge thanks to Konnie, Rashma, Rachelle and Sara for making Wren feel so happy and secure. We were full board and ate at the buffet restaurants, rather than a la carte. The food was exceptional, better than any other buffet we have eaten at. The breakfast almond croissants deserve a special mention! The house reef is huge, wrapping three quarters of the island. While some parts have suffered slightly bleaching, there are numerous healthy varieties of coral. The fish life is incredible, and there is a huge population of black tip reef sharks. Access is easy from the beach or jetty - even our toddler could do it. Watching the black tips hunting fish from the jetty was such a highlight. Rasdhoo Dive Centre was excellent - we did a refresher dive on the reef, Wata was an excellent guide. We also did the Madivaru Dive, famous for white tip reef sharks, which was stunning. The excursions are excellent, well worth the money. We swam with manta rays on two separate snorkelling boat trips, which was an unforgettable experience.

Overall I think island is good comfortable bed and pool villa looks great but there are lots of small area needs to improve. Spa is outstanding massage Lots of mosquitoes I dont think the spray around. Plugs not working they still ate us alive tho. Welcoming was poor service not as you seen youtube. Honeymoon invitation was great but music was aweful with it. Tv sound is terrible. Buggy car has not timetable sometimes nothing sometimes a lot. Cocktails are great !! Housekeeper well talented!! Eco center shark program is great but other is ripp you off a bit ! They dont care if you are disappointed because they are fully booked Safitey said. Garden is amazing and well maintened! Lobby at the hudroplabe when we come is amazing !! We wont come back this island. For 20.000$ we would expect outstanding service. Only spa Cathy and Myo did wao service from begening to the end.

Kuramathi is a beautiful luxury resort. The beaches are long and uncrowded with swimming on one side if the island and reef snorkeling on the other. We had a Water Villa with pool...a large, clean modern space with a lovely bedroom and a huge bathroom overlooking our private deck and infinity pool. Pure luxury. Great choices in the buffet restaurant. Now for the disappointing part: The human element is completely missing here. No smiles or greetings from the staff, no sense of the hospitality and warmth we experienced on the Local islands. Kuramathi is a beautiful manufactured experience with no soul.

After a horrific speed boat transfer from Malé to Kuramathi in storm conditions and rough seas in a small boat the rest of the visit was wonderful. We had a water villa with a pool which was sparkling clean. We were AI and the buffet meals were so delicious we never even tried any a la carte dining. Scuba and snorkeling was magnificent the diving center professional were so very kind and aquatic team for snorkeling made sure we saw plenty of turtles on our snorkel trip. Staff were so accommodating and friendly, we felt completely at ease. Thank you Kuramathi for a memorable trip.

Me and my wife came on our honeymoon to Kurumathi, and it's one of the best decisions we've ever made. All the staff were excellent and very friendly. I would like to give a special mention to Thorgi, who serviced our room and 2 kitchen staff at Farivalhu restaurant (unfortunately i didn't make a note of their names). The resort's beautiful and exceeded our expectations, especially with providing snorkelling equipment as part of the all inclusive package. I would highly recommend the Thundi Water Villa with pool as the features that the room provided and it's price are unmatched by other resorts

The resort was nice, but honestly, we expected more. We stayed at Over the Ocean water villa, from where the view was amazing. But … the porch was not maintained well and part of the wood/thorn entered in my foot for which I needed to go to the hospital (to be fair they didn't make me pay the bill). Also, even though the view is amazing, The water near the water villas is dirty and full of soap, so you can't really enjoy it or enter directly (if not at 6 am). There was a big reef for snorkelling but the paths were not maintained well and almost every time you needed to step on a coral to arrive in the deep. Another thing that we really didn't like is that in our all-inclusive package, it was written that everything in the minibar is included, but when we arrived there only soft drinks were free in the minibar and there is a crazy system that they didn't replenish automatically the minimar but you have to order the drinks every time. Snacks are also not included in the all-inclusive package. On the other hand, the island is big and you have a lot to do even if it's raining. The stuff is amazing, the food was good and the excursions are amazing and must-see!

My wife and I had a great time at Kuramathi, we all had an unforgettable experience esp given it was to one of our first resorts. There was a lot to do which we didnt do, lol. We had enough time to walk around, go at the beach, go at the pools and have juices and food on the fly. That was enough to keep us occupied during the day and the jacuzzi in the room was enough to keep us occupied during the night after a long day of activities. Definitely would recommend.

The over water villa was amazing in terms of view, condition and size. Other than that the rest of the aspects were quite disappointing! Staff is not friendly and a but ignorant to requests/complaints. Food is not bad below the standard compared to other Maldives resorts. Spa experience was totally a waste of money. We went for our honeymoon and resort failed to create or provide anything special for us as honeymooners.
