Overall super happy with this property. It was very close to the water, st. Elmo/ war museum, and the city centre. The hot tub on the roof was a very nice touch.

Nice apartment just outside the busiest area of Valletta. All within walking distance of Valletta's main sites. Spacious apartment with bedroom, kitchen area and bathroom. Nice shared rooftop terrace with small jet-tub. However, there is no reception and we didn't have any housekeeping/cleaning for the 7 nights we were there, but we did receive some fresh towels towards the end of our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was excellent it was situated right in the centre of Valleta which meant you were always within a short distance of the bars, restaurants and shops. The accommodation was clean and tidy with good air con, an essential during August. I would be happy to recommend to anyone wanting a city centre location.

Positives: location, roof top pool lovely to come back and sit in or next to with a beer after a day's sightseeing , daily cleaning, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, a lift so easy to take cases up, free water machine in the lobby (save your bottles and top up) , number key pad so no key to lose. Not so positive: despite phoning twice to say we would be there at 2 the rep did not get there until 10-15 mins past 2, and we were not the only people waiting to check in, but check in was quick once in the flat. The room was large and open plan but there was a slight smell of damp and some of the paintwork was peeling (flakes onto the bathroom floor), the sheets also smelt musty at first but this wore off. The first night someone left the spa pool running and this was above our room (no 4) so it was noisy (we didn't realise what the noise was until the next day), the air con leaked initially so we had to put the bin under to collect water so we didn't leave it running, but there was a fan over the bed so it wasn't a problem and this was resolved after a couple of days. We were there for 4 nights, the apartment was well located for us, but be aware the streets are steep and you are going to have to do some walking, potentially in the heat. Overall it was a good base and reasonably priced for this area of the city. We had an early return flight so booked a taxi via the rep which came on time, only cost a few euros more than our taxi from the airport and was a better car too.

Great location for exploring Valetta. Shower was excellent - great water pressure and temperature. Only downsides were that the 'hot tub' on the roof was most definitely not hot at all, not even a little bit warm. Also, there was a lot of building work going on very close to the hotel so we woke up to the sound of pneumatic drills at 7am every morning. However, that's not the hotel's fault. The stay overall was very good.

It is a nice property, but the location is a bit noisy and lacking suitable shops to buy food. It's only a short walk to Valletta city centre.

There were issues with water leaking, leaving the walls damp in certain places, and even had black mold growing in certain areas. There was no coffee maker in the space, which would have been very helpful to have in the morning of a very busy business trip. Mario was very sweet when he let me in.

Our apartment was a traditional old Maltese building, reminded bit like Venice, in heart of Valletta. Felt very safe and people friendly. Yes it’s noisy, but building not double glazed as very old, and it is right in heart of city amongst other residents . We were fine with it, it’s what adds to life’s richness., go to other places to experience different lifestyles. Loved the freedom to do as we pleased. The company who ran the apertment were very nice, n our towels were changed daily n bed made, which I didn’t expect. Thought they’d pop in only couple of times, so this was very nice. Our apartment had a small roof terrace with little spa type pool, but didn’t use, as weather wasn’t good. Buses are by far, best way around island, cheap. Went to medina, beautiful walled ‘silent’ city. Popeye’s village was lovely, had to go there for grandchildren sake, but great place, can spend whole day there, use beach too and splash play/Park area. Ferry used to pop over to sliema , cheap again, can get other boat trips from here. .

On arrival, after phoning to say we were nearby a representative came by immediately. She gave us the low down on how everything works in the room. She was very welcoming and helpful. We the thought the room was lovely, and the shower hot and powerful! The only down side I can think of is that the cleaner, who came everyday and left it nice and tidy, didn't give us any fresh towels during our 5 night stay. I tried leaving some on the floor as a hint, but she just put them back on the rail, quite wet! All in all though, the room is lovely, well equipped, the location perfect and the roof terrace an added bonus. Thank you.

A comfortable studio very close to everything in Valletta. It was great to stay in such a historic property but be prepared to trade off attractive beams and floors with the fact that single glazed windows don't offer much noise insulation! It really suited us, the cleaning service was particularly good, and although small the roof terrace was lovely. We had to wait to check in and there was a long hold up with our airport transfer coming back, but overall the service was friendly and the location is brilliant for the price.

Accommodation was very good and reception greeting prompt and helpful. Obviously in a city at festival time it ca n be a little noisy. Unfortunately there was a family residing opposite and just up the road who were very noisy. Not sure if they would be like this every weekend as it was festival.

Accomodation itself is okay, a little expensive for what it is though. The local area is very noisy with neighbours across the road repairing cars, kids with sub woofers booming out Europop at all hours of the day and night and even more annoyingly a timber yard in the next road which starts planing wood from 7am. Doesn't make for a comfortable stay. Taxi we booked was there at the airport on arrival however when trying to get a taxi back on our return proved frustrating. We booked the pick up time the day before (by getting the cleaner to call the office because the phones didn't work in the building!) but it just didn't turn up and after numerous calls to numerous numbers it finally arrive an hour late, meaning we only just made our flight home. Would not stay again, there is better accommodation in Valetta, look around.

We had to cancel our stay in Kursara apartments due to COVID restrictions in entering the island. Despite we were within the terms of the free cancellation, we did not received any feedback from the hotel structure nor did Hotels.com after we informed the platform about the impossibility to cancel our booking. The structure charged the full amount of the stay on our credit card and we have not yet received any reply.

Our stay at Kursara Port View Hotel was really enjoyable. The check-in was quick and effortless ,the room was equipped with everything we would need during our stay and the owner was really helpful with everything. It is a lovely, picturesque neighbourhood in the heart of Valetta and was really safe to walk at night. It was overall a pleasant experience and the first step to a wonderful trip in Malta.
