Luna Holiday Complex

The hotel was very good value (Feb) and is in a good location with many rooms with sea view. A parade of shops nearby and plentiful bus services nearby All staff were really nice and friendly I upgraded to include breakfast and this was good Room was ok but the bed itself was dreadful. Very hard and also lots of springs. At night the room was very cold but the air con is above the bed and keeping that on gives you a sore throat. For these reasons my sleep each night was awful sadly which was main reason for lowering points Also whilst the hotel doesn’t run its own shuttle but provides an option where you can book shuttles to support visiting the island. Sadly for us it was a bit of a shambles We were visiting Mdina and we went to Valetta. The driver forgot to drop us at Mdina so then took us back and gave us all a time for the return which didn’t correspond with the published time and the time was neither, we waited an hour! We messaged the shuttle provider who frankly didn’t care. Another day we went to the nice fishing village and the driver was saying so many accidents as various roads were closed. Passengers on the shuttle knew there was a marathon that day which seemed to completely escape the shuttle provider Give me a nice bed in summer season and a decent shuttle and I would go back

Overall a wonderful and very comfortable stay in the Luna, the only thing that was a little annoying was the hot tub on the roof was cold, I’m unsure if it’s just a time of year thing or what but that working would’ve made the experience 100000% perfect!

Great location for access to the beach and a pool option for when the kids had enough of the sea water

cleaning service was only available every other day. meaning no fresh towels daily. asked the cleaning staff and hotel reception who refused to give us clean towels, even after we explained that our clean towels were on the bathroom floor. They provided small kids beach towels. The bathroom has an odd sewer smell and the shower was so small you couldn’t move. the shower curtain doesn’t block out any water so the water goes everywhere, hence why we had to put our bath towels on the floor. The shower head was rusty and only a little bit of water comes out. the shower head fell off one night when we were having showers. The air conditioning was horrible. Little to no air comes out even when the temperature was set at 16 degrees. It is impossible to sleep when it’s 40 degrees outside and the air conditioning doesn’t work. the room was disgustingly hot all the time, even with the air conditioning running. We are extremely disappointed that this hotel was so horrible considering the price and the advertising on the internet. It was extremely expensive considering the poor facilities. We traveled around Malta for a month and stayed in multiple hotels. This was one of the most expensive hotels we paid for and the facilities were so much better in other places. The only good thing about this hotel was the location as it was a 5 minute walk from the beach but it does not outweigh the poor quality rooms. Would not recommend staying here

Short walk to the waterfront and multiple restaurants. Great location, nice facilities, and very friendly staff.

Overall it was good. Room was ok, bathroom door didn’t close, it is quite basic. The cleaner only came once to the room in our stay. The staff were friendly, but we paid quite a lot of money for the service we received.

I couldn't believe when I entered the bathroom and there was a separate faucet for hot and cold water....I mean are we living in the 1800's?

Great holiday from start to finish-some of the Studio rooms are better than others but a refurbishment project is being undertaken. Cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff was great. Excellent Sky pool area for adults only.

Clean hotel with good service. I liked that one of the outdoor pools was mainly in the shade as it was very hot during August. The apartment was quite small but everything was working (shower, AC).

Really good value for money and the staff/service was amazing. Some of the complex was a bit dated but there was upgrading work going on in the building while we were there so looks like it is going to be improved

Great location, near beach and restaurants

Overall the hotel is good and pretty well located, near beach, few restaurants and it also has its own mini market for groceries. We could buy food there and cook ourselves. Reception staff is very helpful. The beach of ghadira is among best in malta. Water is shallow and convenient for small kids. Only problem we had with the hotel, the room was not cleaned daily. One day they just replaced towels while floor needed an urgent cleaning. They didn't even do the beds. The next time it was done properly.

Old fashion. But in good shape. Aircondition don't really cool anything down. Got quite annoyed that on the booking they said there was free parking, and in reality there are none. There are public parking, if you are lucky, and if it's not busy.

We tried to cancel as it was too far away for us. The management was rude. The room was cold and dirty sheets. We were promised Wi-fi, which then had to be paid for in the room, or we had to sit it the lobby.

We could not get to the moon and yesterday because the ferry from Gozo was broken down and we couldn’t get no refund that’s why am disappointed

A fantastic base for our holiday, a short walk from some great bars and restaurants, near the beach and right by bus stops connecting to the rest of the island and the departure point for boat tours to Gozo and Comino. Rooftop pool was great, though a shame that it was completely closed on Sunday due to a thunderstorm in the morning (the weather the rest of the day was lovely!).

The roof pool very good. The shower in the room not very good water would run hot and cold.
