Fantastic! Inside pool was particularly great (used it to avoid sun) and the breakfast had cooked food as well as continental. Previous reviewers seemed to have had a different experience to us as we were really impressed with food on offer. Have travelled the world and stayed in so many hotels and this place is up there with many. Whole holiday 10/10. Malta is wonderful.

I have nothing but words of praise for this hotel... Stuff, service, interior, food, spa... I really cant decide what is better. One of the best experiences and vacation ever! Once again huge thank you everyone from Alexandra hotel, hope to see you again. All recommendations!

Breakfast was good, but unfortunately i booked for my boyfriend birthday and was prior booking i requested for some petals on bed which they agreed to do but nothing was done. Took long to check in as our room was not ready. Checked in and tv was not working. Floor not clean. Found no sheets had to ask for it. Technician came and at least tv was repaired. Thought the hotel was better.

First the good stuff. Nice rooftop pool and great views of they bay. Four elevators available for a 7 floor property which makes Covid distancing feasible. Overall great Covid measures everywhere including the breakfast restaurant where nothing is self-serve. Breakfast had plenty of choices but do not expect the quality / taste you generally get in Europe. Terrible hard mattresses, tired sheets, threadbare discolored towels. Combine that with poor soundproofing and all night noise from the outdoor bars on the narrow street, don't expect to get any restful sleep. The air-conditioning was not keeping up. There was an outdated looking temperature control that didn't seem to do anything. The flat screen TV is the size of a computer monitor. If you have any issues with your booking, good luck. The front desk will intentionally give you the run around (the back office is closed, the manager hasn't called back yet..). There are much better hotels in the general area in the same price range eg: ST Azure in Sliema where we spent the other half of our stay in Malta. In summary, keep away from this hotel. I hope Hotels.com / Expedia removes this property from their sites, as they lie to their agents as well.

Stayed 3 nights, the amenities, value and location was great. I booked a Delux room but the photos and what I got was not what I expected. It was quiet basic, the shower was not great. Breakfast was great lots of many options. There was rooftop pool but it rained while we were there so we only used indoor pool. What actually made me put poor rating was that there was no daily housekeeping. On second day no one came I was like ok fine, second day afternoon no one came I rang reception telling that I had no one come can I at least get fresh towels, came back only thing I had was towels room wasn’t cleaned. I approached cleaning staff and asked, if I can get buns empties they just gave me two bin bags so I emptied my bins myself and put the bag of rubbish with other bags they had in cleaning trolley. I never stayed in hotel where I had to clean myself. In the evening someone came eventually and changed linen. I haven’t slept even with ear plugs in those 3 nights, noise from bars and also the fridge making the wardrobe shake.

The staff at this property are really lovely but thats about it..... The hotel is very run down and shabby. Our first room (126) was absolutely terrible. It overlooked a small area where people had used it to dispose of their cigarette buts.... the rooms are not clean, there was hairs in the shower and the AC didn't work and there was no balcony and only black out curtains, no voile so you had to leave the curtains closed to have any privacy. We eventually changed to another room which was better as we were not surrounded by walls and we actually had some light coming into the room and a balcony. Unfortunately there is building works going on opposite this hotel so its very noisy and dusty... The breakfast is the same every day, and only tinned fruit. The pool is small, it's divided into two areas.... the deepest part is 1m and gets crowded very easily. The sunbeds are very hard and uncomfortable.... Around the pool was very dirty with mouldy green slime. This hotel attracts lots of 'Stag' and 'Hen' parties and is definitely not suitable for couples or families. Next door bars and pubs advertise "100 shots for €30' or so.... so attracts a lot of drunken, noisy crowds. Again let me state the staff were great especially Patrick , James and the lovely 'waiting staff' at the roof top bar.... They all work so hard, they really don't stop running around.....

The hotel was okay, easy walking distance to pacevill area or down to the marina and lovely restaurants there. Breakfast was really good and staff were friendly. The room was a little dusty due to building work across the street but beds and towels changed ever day and room cleaned as best they could. For the price we paid we were happy with the hotel. Roof top pool was a bonus and indoor pool great for swimming

Room very clean and breakfast was good. Fire alarm went off multiple times during our stay which was very disrupting. Cleaners also came to our room at early hours of the morning multiple times and woke us up which we felt could have been avoided if they came at a more reasonable time maybe after breakfast/ lunch. Service during our check out wasn’t great was not asked how our stay was or given much acknowledgement just took our room key. Location good for night life and particular street quiet enough.

Really friendly and polite staff in a great area if you’re young and looking to party However , construction work woke us up everyday at 7am, even on a Sunday. Breakfast was okay, but overall average. Would stay again as we didn’t mind this as we were mainly drunk the entire time.

Room OK except the bathroom was very poorly equipped (no shelf to put anything) and the shower was no more than a lukewarm dribble. Pool area a bit messy and dominated by groups of lads. Breakfast acceptable. Building works just across from a narrow street meant we could hear them and they could see us. Noisy part of town generally with groups loud in the streets and corridors late at night.
