Our stay at LUX was exceptional. The amenities are clean, the staff is ultra nice. The beach in front of the hotel is probably the best we’ve visited. We were there for our honeymoon and for my husband’s birthday and we were spoiled with so many surprises, like champagne, cake, massages, cocktails mixing class and a number of other things. There is also so much to do, that if you wish, you don’t have to leave the hotel. There is a program with number of events every day - for children and for adults. We visited the spa, used the tennis court, went to the cinema night. Everything was perfect during our stay.

Amazing Hotel ! Great for families. Food and Pool was amazing. One downside is you are far away from absolutely everything. So if you plan on adventuring out and about hire a car from the airport and prepare to travel (30-40 mins minimum)

It was a group visit, looking for a very special destination.
Our age range from 2 years through 30 and 40, 60 and 70.
Such wide requirements, but they met them all. Room comfort, activity opportunities, outstanding pool and beach are second to none. “Buffet Eating” never my style, but this is Buffet beyond my previous understanding and 3 other exceptional dining options. Great Bar too. A very wonderful offer.

Hotel design & rooms, spa & wellness facilities are very good. But low value for money, property tries to be super exclusive based on the prices but does not deliver accordingly, especially in the service area. Service personal is partly rude, talking to themself rather than the customer they are serving. They are serving you only ones in the restaurant and they are not really attentive afterwards, eg refilling of water/wine, asking for dessert etc. The dinner reservation seem to be not possible at the time the guest request it and it’s not ensured to get even a table every evening in a restaurant. Can happen, but also then no compensation or free room service is Bering offered. Short the guest are not beeing treated as prio 1.

This is the second time we have stayed at lux Belle Mare and it didn’t disappoint! Nothing is too much bother, the rooms and hotel spaces are five star and plenty of things to enjoy! The food is incredible and not your average buffet! Literally the best hotel for couples and families with five star expectations! Beautiful beach and pool

Aktar in mondo was amazing. Lovely and friendly. Really took care of us for desserts.
Jenny greeted us and gave us an extensive overview of the resort. We booked in for various activities. She always made a point to chat to us and ask how we were.
Bilal was fantastic at the coffee bar. Very friendly and gave us good recommendations.
We had a fantastic time here and would love to come back. Excellent staff, clean facilities and a beautiful view.

Very family friendly hotel in a beautiful setting. Kids club had a variety of fun activities and food choices for our 1.5yr and 4yr kids were surprisingly great with nutritious healthy options available. Room was very comfortable and well equipped, could’ve been a bit cleaner at times.

A little slice of heaven. From entering to checking out the Lux goes beyond. Its incredibly clean, staff welcoming and attentive. The little touches really made our stay perfect. The rooms are so spacious, beds soft yet supportive. Daily cleaning and turn down service was always perfect. The options for food were excellent. For the 6 nights we were there the buffet was always different, the al a carte options also really varied and the skill of the chefs was amazing. We were blown away by the patisserie options and high quality food. Particular mention to Sharon and her skills with chocolate! The weather wasnt always on ourside during our stay so the current was a bit strong to swim for us but we were just unlucky due to the weather. But the beach is clean, plenty of sun loungers,and you can walk several km down to see even more views. Concerige is excellent and helped us book beginners horse riding on the beach which was loved. We would not hesitate to return! No negatives at all!!

Jennifer was an absolute hero in our trip she helped us with everything we need and more and was very kind even our daughters (7 & 3 years old) loved her

Very nice hotel, the beach was beautiful, picture perfect.
The hotel was very nice, food excellent, the bar ok. The gardens were beautifully kept.
Really great size room, bed super comfy.
Couple comments would be in the main restaurant, Mondo should have hand sanitizers with it being a buffet. I much prefer la carte which is served in Beach Rouge and the other restaurants on the resort (which are not included in the all inclusive rate)
Lots of sun beds on the beach, but not enough around the pool and although a polite message, saying that if beds were left empty for more than 45 minutes the towels would be removed, no members of the team seamed to be taking any action…..same with the adult pool, lots of children in the adult area, but the life guards took no notice, which was dangerous.
Only minor points and didn’t mate the holiday….the beach made it

We had the most amazing stay at the Lux Belle Mare! The team were so welcoming, hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. The resort was clean, comfortable and luxurious, and the variety and quality of the food surpassed expectations. The honeymoon package made our stay extra special! The reception team assisted us with restaurant reservations both at the hotel and elsewhere. The buffet, and the Chinese and Indian restaurants at the hotel, and the local Japanese restaurant Hasu were our standouts. Restaurants seemed to get booked up quickly so it was important to plan ahead, but it was always possible to dine at the hotel buffet restaurant. The pool and beach were beautiful and the hotel includes some complimentary water activities/sports which we realised too late. There is free on-site parking with gated access for security, and found it easy to travel by car rental across the island to all our areas of interest. We would definitely visit again in the future and would highly recommend the resort to anyone looking to stay in Mauritius.
