What Guests Say About Their Stay

At first they put me in a room where I could hear all my neighbors, so I asked to be moved and they placed me in another wing that was much more quiet. The internet was soso, and the room was small, but clean, and had everything I needed. There is no coffee maker or fridge in the room, so I had to improvise, but overall it was fine. Overall I don’t believe the hotel deserves more than 3 stars, but it’s very well located and has lots of restaurants, shops, and cafes around. Close to the Angel of Freedom, from where tour buses go everywhere.

Excelente ubicación. El personal súper amable y atento. El lugar muy limpio. Si ocupa modernizarse pero lo compensa la ubicación y la amabilidad del personal…. Y la cama muy dura.

Staff was responsive, housekeeping was very very attentive and polite. The room was clean and the location was perfect for a relaxed stay in Mexico city. All the things you need at walking distance and plenty of dining options for all types of budgets. It's true what they say about the AC though, the room was warm and it wasn't possible to regulate the temperature. The AC system is LOUD and dated, you can get used to how noisy it is, at least I did, but it'll be a problem if you're noise sensitive at night.

We arrived exactly at the scheduled check-in time (3:00 PM), but we were not allowed to check in because we were told the rooms were not ready. We waited for more than an hour, and when I asked again, I was told to keep waiting as the rooms were still not ready. I explained that I had an event and that it didn’t feel fair since my reservation and the app clearly stated check-in was at 3:00 PM and that time was not being respected. The young receptionist who assisted us responded in a rude manner and mentioned that the rooms were “subject to availability,” which made it seem like my reservation was not even guaranteed. Later, another staff member helped us and finally provided the room, but overall the service experience was poor.

1. Staff = Employees were very nice and pleasant and care about your safety 5 ⭐️ 2. Neighborhood = Very safe can walk around by yourself 5 ⭐️ 3. Locations - Everything close by like reforma street, shopping malls, street food/restauarnts, grocery/convenient stores, 15 mins away from Centro Historico 5 ⭐️ 4. Room - Bed is fine, not much toiletries. Not enough plugs so if you have things to charge or hook up, it’s going to be in by one. There is no a/c but it’s more like a fan that’s running. Walks are not thick enough that you can hear someone either using the washroom and or hear people from other room. The washroom drainage is not good so the sink and bathtub gets clogged easily so imagine taking a shower. Washroom feels a little dark when taking a shower. 2 ⭐️ In general, the building looks great. It just you realized it’s a old building so you may see some flaws for a location that’s really great to be in. Also, I felt with all this it felt like a 3 star hotel rather than 4. I would recommend to someone to go there for a short stay if 1-2 nights. But wouldn’t recommend more than 2 nights. I hope they can fix all this issue because it’s such a hotspot for the hotel to be in.
