City Express Plus by Marriott Mexicali

Room had a broken futon. Not even an actual bed. Which was described as a couch that turns into a bed, not a a rock hard futon. Also king size bed was very hard. My back is still killing me. Wifi was horrible. Staff specifically Enrique was horrible, when i literally just arrived i told him the futon bed leg was bent/broken and wanted him to switch me rooms or replace the bed since my 10 year old daughter was going to sleep on it. He the accused us of breaking it and started calling all his staff members to question if they noticed the bed already broken. He was very rude and disrespectful and made me feel very uncomfortable. I was so angry and ready to leave but i believe it was too late to cancel and get a refund. I will never stay there again

Clean Room, except for the broken shade at the window, had to roll it up by hand to get some sunlight or see out my window.

Clean room, attentive staff

Room and hotel conditions are excellent but staff is not excellent, need to be warm, too cold like robots.

Always great service

Everything was okay. No privacy for the restrooms in the rooms. Door was semi-see through and had no lock. I was staying with family so it was okay but I wouldn’t have like it if staying with friends. Check in was a bit of a mess. The staff member gave me a room that was already occupied. Did not like how a staff member took the spoon right out of my yogurt container during the breakfast hour.

Room was small but comoortable, nice little shower with a nice showerhead. Modern amenities and decor. Breakfast choices could be better but it was great for being included. Underground parking with

Clean room and great staff

The staff was friendly and I was able to check in 30 minutes early. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that there wasn't any parking when we stayed the first night. They told us we could park on the street, but I was concerned because you never know if your car could get vandalized. However, there was another parking option with a third-party security that you needed to pay for, which was something I wasn't pleased about. Why mention free parking when the hotel doesn't have enough parking for its guests? I'm definitely not staying here again. I just wish the hotel would clarify its parking situation.

Staff were amazing and very helpful, the room was perfect and clean, starbucks was right infront, other restaurants walking distance. Overall an amazing stay and will be recommending to family and friends and will be returning

I been staing at this hotel since it opened 5 yrs ago, need to put attention to the cleaning of the rooms. Last time the waitress would come by pouring coffee not anymore. There juices are terrible. I was told that the hotel is under new management hopefully he would make the correct changes and pay attention to our comments
