Awesome place

Hotel was very accommodating to our flight changes, staff was very friendly and professional. Room was small but clean and well maintained. Good place to stay since we spent majority of our trip outside the area. Be aware that they do not give extra towels (only during daily housekeeping) and the property is small. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting Iztapalapa and are on a budget.

Nice place to stay in the area. Location is convenient as it’s close to a big store and the subway. The staff at the front desk could be nicer.

It was clean. We stayed in the hotel and not the villa. Towels are hard tho lol also no a/c

This is an entension of a motel which is attached to the same property. For those not familiar in mexico a motel are 4 hour motel rooms used to have intercourse. The room smelled of sex immediately walked out dont waste your time going to this place. Have no idea how this hotel has a 7.5 rating.

Worst stay ever. I was scared the entire 30 minutes we stayed there. You can hear everything. You don’t get a room key, you get escorted to a garage apartment in which they close the garage door behind you and expect you to find the way to your upstairs bedroom. The bed is hard as a rock. Did not go under the sheets, instead laid out my sweater where the pillow was. Stayed up listening around for 30 minutes in which I decided I could not stay. I felt so uncomfortable especially with the set up of the hotel. We get what we paid for but still not worth it whatsoever. They sell adult items where you check in so we should’ve known. We immediately went back to the lobby, returned the remote and didn’t even ask for our money back. I felt safer staying at the airport so that’s exactly what we did.

Hotel is of good appearance, good location for shopping and daily needs, near the subway station, many restaurants etc.The room was very clean BUT nothing inside. Just a bed and 2 towels! - A closet without any hanger, a bottle of water without any glass, window which will not stay closed, blinds which will not close completely, too much light for me to sleep. Not hand towel even, just 2 tiny pieces of soap. A flat screen TV with a remote control given at check-in. Just basic on the air channels, no cable, no satellite TV, no radio, no clock, The reception office is completely closed, you speak through the glass. A little hole open for payments credit cards and door keys. Kind of one of those high security banks, or like the taxi cabs in New York City The price was right, you get what you paid for. There is lots of room for improvements here.

When I arrived to the hotel, they told me that they have no room available. I told them that I had a reservation with Expedia and they just told me again that they had no room available. So I called Expedia for assistance, after they had called the hotel too, they organized a room for me. The hotel is a special type of hotel and a lot of guests come only for a couple of hours. The room was okay, but I preferred to sleep in my clothes - it did not feel really clean. I would not stay again.

Staff was nice and helpful. Hotel room was big, clean and comfortable.

The hotel info stated check in was from 1pm to 6pm. I had the concierge at the Mar Azul hotel in Acapulco call for me and inform Atenas of our late arrival and that we probably would not make it until 8pm due to road construction on the route to Mexico City and that we were scheduled on the 12:30 bus, only seats available. We had 2 rooms reserved. We arrived at 7pm and were informed that "there were no rooms for us because we were not here by 1pm. They would have to put us up in rooms behind the hotel." She claimed that these rooms were the same. ??? I said no, we had informed them of our late arrival and that this was not acceptable for us. After going round and round with her, the Manager finally came and they agreed to give us rooms in the hotel. They wanted to charge us more and I refused. we were then given upgraded rooms. Looking out the window at "the rooms behind the hotel", I was surprised to see some low, cement block buildings separate from the hotel which were a little scarey looking.
