Hotel Cascada Huasteca

Clean hotel, very friendly staff. Small town with local restaurants and shops within walking distance. Very close to the Cascada Tamul. Ask for Cesar to be your tour guide if planning to go to the Cascada / Cenote, he was there on site at the hotel/restaurant. Amazing views all around.

Location hard to find GPS takes you to a dead end. The hotel is nice and clean. Small restaurant just across from it. You can feel nature all around. They have people right by the hotel that will take you to the Cascada, it's and amazing experience.

The hotel is minutes away from the waterfall in a very small town. It’s the best looking hotel in this location. Great for a one night stay after see the beautiful Cascada Tamil. The room is clean and the beds are comfortable.

Really close to Tamul. It has a decent pool. Employees are friendly an willing to give advise.

I wasent able to arrive because the hotel never answered their phone. I couldn’t find my way to the hotel

Stayed in the triple bed room with my family, it was comfortable and clean but does need some TLC. Only issues we had was the noise level as the walls are thin and since it’s a small hotel you can hear the people at the pool, the room above and outside! Also, NO hot water, we tried showering at different times of the day and there was no hot water, only from the bathroom sink. Other than that, location was good and overall a good hotel.

It’s close to Tamul waterfalls. Very basic necessities and room is a tight space. It’s definitely not a hotel, it’s a motel style place. The room was clean but found a giant roach in the bathroom and towels definitely need replacement seeing that the edges of the towels are shredded. There are guides that will take you to the waterfall with equipment but they lack a vehicle to take you there. It’s $150 peso per person if 6 or more people or $1000 pesos if less than 6 people. Staff was kind to help us obtain a taxi the night before our check out since taxis are scarce. There is NO cell service in the area.

Staff was helpful. Large Room and comfortable beds and shower Good view and nice city. Be aware - there is no elevator, and the city goes to sleep early so no place to eat after 8:00pm

I'd like cuople chairs in the room and other kind of doors.

Great hotel close to tamul waterfall excellent choice

This is certainly the best option in Tanchachin. Very clean room, comfy bed, and great A/C. Pool was a bit dirty and the hotel wouldn't give us extra towels which was frustrating.... (we were one of maybe 3 other guests....) The shower wasn't the greatest and there isn't much going on in the town, but it's small enough where you can walk to the little stores and restaurants, which is nice. Free wi-fi is nice as well, even though it's a little slow. NO cell service at all. Overall, it wasn't anything fancy, but was great for what we needed-- a central spot in the Huasteca to travel to all of the waterfalls in day trips!

This hotel is ideally located for access to the numerous attractions in Huasteca Potosina, especially Cascada de Tamul and Cueva del Agua. The staff is friendly and willing to help with whatever they can and you are within the town of Tanchachin, but the downside is that the beds are not that comfortable. Well worth a stay for a night or two though!

The hotel was a little challenging to find at first, but thanks to some friendly locals we managed to get there. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the beds are definitely not "king size" so don't go anticipating to sleep 3 (or even 2, comfortably) to a bed. Other than that it was a nice place and VERY conveniently located for a trip to Cascadas de Tamul and Cueva del Agua.

This is the best place to stay in town

Far from a 3 star. Nothing like pictures in expedia. Too expensive for the quality of the hostal (can not call it hotel).

Estacionamiento limitado, las recámaras con poco mantenimiento, lavabo tiraba agua, minisplit viejo y goteando agua también.
