Hotel Patria

This is a hard one. Price is great. Easy walking distance to el Zocalo, the cathedral, and the ruins. But the hotel appears to be only marginally maintained, and the smell of sewer gas was not rare.

There was no hot water. No había agua caliente

There’s only hot water from 8 to 11 am. And 8 to 11 pm. The rest of the hours there is no hot water. There is a lot of insects inside your room.

I like how clean it was. I didn't like that in the rules it dair that they are not responsible for any lost things rhat were not on the safe box. So I wanted to use the safe box and it didn't work. I whent to reception and tthe lady told us that we shouldn't used it because they don't work. I felt blamed for something i was not told from the beginning of my stay, plus this lady in the evening shift is kind of rude. The other ones in the mornings are very nice

For a low cost hotel in the historic center of a major city Hotel Patria was just fine. Excellent location for exploring the older structures, the Zocalo, Metropolitan Cathedral, Templo Mayor, and Palacio de Bellas Artes. We stayed a week and the weekend was pretty noisy in a fiesta way. Also there were demonstrations which made us glad we were able to walk places. Terrific value for the price.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Great value—close to Zocalo.

Very dirty place. I can't believe that Expedia actually has this hotel rated with 4 out of 5 stars. Smelly towels. Generally just a dirty place. No working wifi and the estimate to fix it was 4 days away. We had paid for 5 nights at this hotel, but left after the first one. Very poor.

Es un hotel muy sencillo pero limpio, buena opción para pasar la noche para asistir a un evento que fue mi caso. Buena atención de parte de recepción que me cuidaron mi equipaje que llegué temprano y aún no estaba lista la habitación.

Excelente ubicación, calidad relación a precio.

Nos gustó las instalaciones pero no había agua caliente, está limpio pero es pequeño el lugar

Hay un Oxxo a una cuadra, el metro Pino Suárez a dos esquinas y el zócalo también dos esquinas

La habitación estaba limpia, las 4 noches de estancia el personal fue muy amable, se tiene que avisar cada día por limpieza en habitación, solo un día no se pidió limpieza de habitación ni cambio de toallas, el agua caliente solo es por 4 hrs en la mañana y por 3 horas en la noche, tiene ascensor el hotel. Los colchones de la habitación que me asignaron estaban muy suaves y muy vencidos, las sabanas, colchas y almohadas estaban limpias y ordenadas. La ubicación es adecuada si quieres estar cerca del zócalo y cerca de la estación del metro Pino Suarez, solo para descansar por un precio adecuado. Lo otro que no me gustó es que la puerta de la habitación estaba junto a otra puerta de otra habitación y al final de un pasillo, lo cual provocaba que lo que se platicaba en la otra habitación se escuchaba incluso cuando entraban en la habitación de al lado parecía que estaban abriendo o tocando la puerta de mi habitación, así como que no tenia buen sellado el marco de la puerta y muy abierto la parte baja de la misma y la puerta abría hacia afuera con el pasador de la chapa expuesto para abrir la puerta.

Desde q llegamos la habitación estaba sucia y durante la instancia no hicieron limpieza las toallas no las cambian la basura no la pasaron a recoger en los pasillos no limpiaban y el personal te deja afuera esperando un buen rato asta q se dignan en abrir
