Pavillon du Golf

Enjoyable. Downside music from other residents until after 2am. Complained to reception and they promised to talk to the culprits. Rooms clean and huge. Needs updating. It's equivalent to 3 star but the setting in the nature is definitely 5 star.

It is a fantastic quiet place if you do not mind nature (the frogs sing till dawn) and if you do not care much about breakfast (breakfast is served in your room for free- a glass of orange juice, pots of coffee and hot milk, two sets of pastries, butter, jam and sugar). If you need cereals, eggs, sausage, cheese, banana, apple etc then I will suggest you bring some - there is a cooker and all the utensils you need to cook and eat. The fridge, dishwasher, microwave and coffee makers are available. If coking is not your thing, Palmeraie Hotel is 3-5 minutes walk and you can enjoy your breakfast. For dinner, there is an Italian Restaurant or you can go to any of the larger hotels. The surrounding are neat and the suites have plenty of space to seat- including two overlooking the ponds. However, if you are messier than me then go elsewhere. My sheets and pillows were not changed for five nights and so the small soap and shower gel and shampoo. The rooms are cleaned and towels every two days - though towels have seen better days and look "abused" or "exhausted".

I didn’t like the rooms, very low quality service, cleanliness of the room is very poor, it has nothing to do with 5* rating, not even 2 stars, with regards to the outside views is nice but the pool looks like a kids pool. I wouldn’t go back personally and I don’t recommend it at all. The cleaning is every 2 days, the towels are very old with bad clor smell

Overall, the hotel was fine and the experience was positive. But nevertheless, it's definitely not a 5 stars hotel. Moreover, it's quite far from the city. You don't have taxis coming there randomly.

I felt like being overcharged, the front desk guy arranged us a dinner, which was 1000+dhm per/person, and we refused. The taxi charged vary, we were like idiots, 20 minutes they charge us 200 dhm, and we took the same distance way three times, every time, there are different prices, and the taxi drivers didn't speak English, we have to give that money..

The room furniture was old and the bathroom did not have any toiletries. Despite being two guests, we also only found one towel.

The staff were beyond amazing from start to finish, recommending places to go and eat whilst also booking taxi, excursions and making sure we got reasonable prices. The hotel is lovely, our room had a view over the lake which had plenty of wildlife. I booked here to be away from the noise and just travelled to the other things in day trips. The beach isn’t close but if you get a private day trip you can do anything you want along route and the drivers were very good! Safety first with lots of information. Couldn’t recommend more, if I go back I’ll be sure to stay here again. Thank you.

The hotel looks beautiful, the rooms are amazing and spacious. However, we found four cockroaches on our 2nd night, then 2 or 3 the following night. After being moved we continued to find cockroaches in the 2nd room too. There is a constant noise from the back of the hotel from the toads which might make it hard for some people to sleep. The staff were some of the most unhelpful hotel staff I have ever come across in my life. They were partly unable to help and partly unwilling to help - which made it worse. The manager is not on site, just a handful of people run this hotel (2 or 3 at night times). Our cockroach experience took about 4 days to resolve because there was nobody caring enough on site to follow through and resolve it. Service is very bad, they only clean the room every two days, and the kitchenette although well equipped - is very poor quality. The location is terrible - you will need to spend about £10 each way if you want to take a taxi anywhere from here. The hotel staff are not keen to inform you that there is the option of a shuttle service - seems they are more keep to promote the resident taxi driver who will take you anywhere in his deathtrap 30 year old mercedes as long as you pay his minimum 100 dirhams (about £9).

Arriving late at night, with no shops nearby, we were charged 50 drm (£5) for a litre bottle of water, when in fact this should have been supplied complimentary as there was a fridge in the room they took advantage of the situation. on arrival we were not informed that we were required to order breakfast on a daily basis. Breakfast arrived later than our specified time ie we ordered it for 9.30 for most mornings, it arrived at 10.00 after prompting them. We were not informed of the days there was no shuttle available, hence having to fork out for taxis. The patio wa very dirty on arrival. The bathroom, although it was clean it was very smelly (we went out to buy some air fresheners).

Was a bit disappointed with hotel facilities.the room was nice-but none of the activities in the hotel brochure were actually available. No kids club .no tennis.and despite 38degree heat and sunshine they made a fuss when kids wanted to swim beyond 6.30 pm. No towels for pool.1 hour to wait for breakfast. Ilove marrakech-but would be unlikely to return to pavillon du golf

Spent 3 days - very calm and quiet. Beautiful gardens and flowers

Fantastic, tranquil and relaxing place to stay for a short break. Just what I needed. Staff were helpful and engaging. Thanks to Hassan who particularly went the extra yard to ensure I enjoyed my stay and organized an excursion and other things for me. Will be staying there again.

I always love staying here, the staff are friendly especially Khaled.

Quiet place to rest & to view a nice golf course with an artificial lake .
