This is by far one of the best places we have stayed. Laurence and her staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help all their guests We were treated like family. The Riad itself is so incredibly beautiful and. artistically decorated in Moroccan style. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Laurence arranged our airport transfer and a wonderful all day tour. The Riad itself is in the Medina and within walking distance to all the attractions and Souks. If we return to Marrekech we will be sure to book this superb Riad We were so sad to leave Thank you so much !

We had the most incredible stay at Riad Charme d'Orient. Nothing was too much trouble for Laurence, Soufian, Said and team. We felt so safe and looked after the whole trip. Said organised a wonderful day trip for us to Ourika Valley. We also had a wonderful hammam experience at the Riad. We have give a special shout out to Soufian who is the kindest, most hard working and hospitable man we have both ever met. We were so sad to leave. Thank you for a very much needed break!

There wasn’t one thing that I didn’t like! Right from the moment I approached the front door I knew that this was going to be an incredible experience! And man,was I right!
I was greeted by Said,warmly and very graciously.He explained all and any details regarding my stay,providing me with a map of the general area,places to see,etc.What a man❤️
Then I got to meet Laurence,the Lady of the Riad.What a joy!! Her warm smile and generous heart captivated me immediately! I felt so at home for my short stay and would never consider staying anywhere else ❤️
Along with Said and Laurence,Savyon prepared and served me a delicious dinner and another unforgettable experience.And hats off to Fatima and the other ladies of the staff who took great care of me!! Especially my endless need to drink the wonderful coffee up on the rooftop terrace! I’m sorry for making you have to go up and down those stairs so many times 😃❤️❤️ As you may imagine,it was very difficult to say goodbye ❤️❤️❤️

I have travelled quite a bit and all over the world and I can honestly say this is the very best travelling accommodation experience I have ever had. From the absolute perfect and beautiful taste of the decor in the Riad, to the extra care taken to provide both hospitality and practical guidance, to the friendliness and care from the staff, to the location- a quiet retreat from the fullonness of Marrakesh but a 5min walk to excellent restaurants, the southern end of the souk, and the range of historical sights in the Mellah area. The Hammam and massage was excellent and the morning breakfasts everything you'd want. Thankyou so much to Laurence, Said and team... we will definitely be back Inshallah!

This is a beatiful riad in a perfect part of the city. You enter the door into an oasis of serenity where every detail is thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Everywhere is tastefully designed in traditional style. The rooftop terrace was beautiful and a lovely place to relax in the sun. Laurence and Said were warm & welcoming and we were treated like a member of the family by everyone (but not intrusively!) and offered sweet mint tea each day. We had dinner on the first night and it was fantastic, the best meal we have had in a while, not just in Marrakech! The breakfasts were also amazing and a perfect start to the day. We really can't find a fault and will stay here again when we next come to Marrakech.

Laurence, said, Soufiane, Asnah, fatimazahra and warda were all kind, knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, we just can say enough great things about our experience here. This was our first trip to Marrakech and I don’t know how we got so lucky to find this Riad. I have zero reservations recommending this place to other. We absolutely loved it. It was delightful to stay at a traditional Riad. It was conveniently located within the medina and within walking distance of many attractions. The staff were super friendly and very caring. It helps if you or one of your party can speak french.

Even before I arrived, I was impressed with how welcoming and helpful everyone was. The manager himself met me at the taxi drop-off point and helped me with my luggage. The room and the entire riad was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and I adored the roof top garden where I could relax with mint tea, cookies, and a good book. Just an amazing, wonderful experience.

Our stay at Riad Charme d’orient was nothing but AMAZING! Riad is located centrally, short distance to Medina, and local attraction. We were able to walk to all the following places: Bahia Palace, Spice Market, El Badi Palace, Saadian Tombs, Madrasa Ben Yousse, Koutoubia Mosque, Jemaa-el Fnna, Souk Semmarine and even Majorelle Garden was walkable.
What truly set our stay apart was the exceptional service. Sofian and Said in particular, were outstanding!! His client-oriented approach made us feel truly cared for during our stay. He was always available to assist with any request, offering great recommendations for day trip, location places, food/restaurant options and making sure every aspect of our visit was smooth. His warmth and dedication really added a personal touch to our experience. Special thanks the owner Laurence & Alain, was always so quick on answer any questions we had prior to our trip and during our stay. Thank you to wonderful ladies team Fatimazahra, Asnan, & Warda❤️

I stayed at this Riad for 3 days, and from the warm welcome to the heartfelt goodbye, the service was impeccable. In 50 years of travel, I’ve never experienced such a friendly, customer-focused atmosphere. The location near the centre of Medina was ideal, and the interior design was beautiful. My room was spotless and cleaned daily, the rooftop was stunning, and the breakfast on it was excellent. I also enjoyed a top-notch massage. Laurence, Said, and the team were excellent hosts, from meeting us at the taxi drop off point, to organising a fabulous balloon trip without any hassle, making sure the early morning pick up arrived with the night manager coming with us to the pick up point to make sure we were collected.
Also, Laurence went out of her way to help me when I was scammed by an elderly man who charged me more than double for a cactus silk bag!
The breakfast was exceptional and delicious.
The room was beautifully decorated and very comfy.
They also help with a cats' charity, which is so nice to see.
Thank you for an excellent stay. We hope to be back one day!
