Had an amazing 2 night stay here, the location is incredible, set against the mountains with an endless view across the desert. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, rooms are great with good AC, especially liked the terrace off the room where you can watch the sunset, sunsets here are incredible. The breakfast and dinner was ok, not amazing, but the location and staff made up for the food quality.

during low season, we had been the only guests. Makes dinner/breakfast a bit feeling lonely. Therefore, for dinner we went to the main lodge (at the fuel station, approx 6km from the Solitaire Desert Farm). The toaster for the bread was defect, made black tiles only... Otherwise: very nice, very quite, great star-gazing. Rooms are very spacious. Clean pool. Missing the owner to say "hello" (was on premise). Warhogs seen at the water-hole.

숙소 환경은 아름답고 편안한 분위기로 좋았지만 롯지의 경우 숙소 내부 시설은 냉장고나 TV는 없고 침대와 에어컨이 시설이 되어 있습니다. 창문과 메인 문의 잠금 장치 개선이 필요합니다. 조식의 경우 나미비아 대부분 숙소에서 별도로 계란과 베이컨, 버섯과 전통소세시 등이 나오는데 여기는 별도 접시에 계란만 지급해 주었습니다. 가족여행이라도 롯지보다는 캠핑사이트 이용이 이 숙소의 장점으로 평가 됩니다. 아름다운 캠핑사이트로는 손색이 없습니다. 다만 가장 가까운 마트와 거리가 비포장 도로 7km 이상 떨어져 있어 숙소에 방문하기 전에 필수품 구입을 하시기 바랍니다.

Hotel.com not showed this booking in app, I try to contact a lot of times by phone and emails, I have 10 emails asking about this booking and I decide to booking another hotel because the app of hotels.com didnt give to me any information, untill now in by booking area of the website dont appear this booking. So, I contact the Solitaire Desert Farm to comunicate this and try to cancel without any fee because is not my fault, but Hotels.com fault and they charge me. I want my refund from hotels.com of this booking cause I DONT STAYED THERE!

We enjoyed the cheetah tour here at Solitaire Desert Farm. Location OK, easy to find, facilities good enough for a one-night stopover. Food average, not bad but not great. They were renovating the bar so it caused some confusion amongst staff when it came to ordering drinks.

Not enough staff on for the nimber of guests. Asked for a starter ten minutes later had to ask again. Wanted to visit cheetas in the evening no no one is going later a truck drops people off who had seen cheetas that evening. They tried hard but were not organised

We spent two nights at Solitaire Desert Farm in July and find it to be just what we wanted. After driving several hours on bumpy gravel roads through the desert, this is just the place to unwind. Their rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are helpful, and the ambiance in the dining room area was always warm, inviting and relaxed. Sometimes there was even live music performed by the staff. Food was consistently good but better yet was their nice wine selection by the bottle. Oh and they also have a variety of hiking trails to explore with maps to borrow from the lodge. We'd definitely recommend this if staying near Solitaire, Namibia!

overall, this was a very comfortable stay. there is pretty much NOTHING in solitaire, and this desert farm was like a little comfortable oasis out of nowhere. rooms are large. decent bar. breakfast is free and they even pack you a "take away" when we were trying to get out early, which is nice. they cook dinner that you can purchase (not cheap, no options, no time options), but if you don't eat it, there's no other options in solitaire. wifi only works in lobby and dining room unfortunately

The place was scenic, the pool had a great view on the landscape, the room was clean and had a nice porch with a great view. The diner buffet was excellent with lots of meats (including game meat) but the breakfast lacked of sweet options in my opinion (a cake or some sweet breads would have been nice) and the internet was not working the night we were there but that was in no way a problem; in a place like that you want to just enjoy where you are We actually wished we stayed more Nice staff too!

Wir haben die Desert Farm als Ausgangspunkt für einen Besuch des Sossuvleis genutzt, da nichts mehr in der Nähe frei war. Die Anlage ist ordentlich und nett angelegt. Am besten hat uns der atemberaubende Blick in den Sternenhimmel gefallen. Es gibt quasi keine Lichtemission in der Nähe, von daher ideal um Sterne zu gucken. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung und auch vom Abendessen ist man satt geworden. Allerdings sollte man keine zu hohen kulinarischen Ansprüche haben. Es gab Buffet, kein a la Cart Menü. Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Sauberkeit war auch gut. Wir würden durchaus noch einmal buchen. Auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt um in den Naukluft Park zu fahren.
