Excellent location, walkable to all museums, tram is very close, so many delicious restaurants and bakeries nearby, and Albert Cypt market. Hotel staff were lovely, we arrived early and they allowed us to store our luggage and we were able to explore the city right away!

Other than the good location and an ok room, this was a very poor experience. The listing advertised a ‘top rated breakfast’ and an ‘arcade/game room’, but breakfast was unavailable and there was no games room. The hotel was also in the middle of major construction works, making it feel more like a building site than a hotel, with intrusive noise from around 8am each morning. Staff were elusive and not attentive. Worse still, the breakfast refund promised at check-in has never been paid, and multiple attempts to contact the hotel have gone unanswered without even an acknowledgement. Poorly managed, poorly communicated, and not as described.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The property is currently under construction, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. There was a strong smell throughout, likely related to the ongoing work, and the room itself was extremely small with no proper space for luggage. Basic amenities were missing — there was no closet, no place to sit, and even the shower and toilet were uncomfortably small. To make matters worse, the staircase was closed, and I had to use an alternative exit without any clear prior notice. Overall, the stay felt poorly managed and inconvenient. It is frustrating that the hotel continues to operate under these conditions. It would be far more reasonable to close temporarily and reopen once construction is complete, or at the very least clearly inform guests in advance. Due to this negative experience, I believe a refund is justified.

This hotel is under major construction. The reception is currently in a bedroom and the entrance is the fire exit. Work starts early and ends late. The room was nice but bathroom not very clean. There was a coffee station in the foyer partially obstructing my door which was very odd. The room was also at street level so very noisy at night. This hotel might be great when they’ve finished renovating but for now o thought it was overpriced for what it was.

Our stay (21–23 March 2025) was completely overshadowed by major construction works that we were never informed about. The ground‑floor room was right next to the building site, with loud work starting at 7:30 AM on both Sunday and Monday. Wires were left trailing across the floor throughout the hotel, creating clear safety hazards. Our room had also just been painted and was filled with strong fumes, but we couldn’t open the windows because construction equipment was blocking them. The combination of noise, unsafe conditions, and poor air quality made the stay deeply uncomfortable, and we wanted to leave as soon as possible each day. Overall, a very poor experience and not at all what we expected.

We did not receive the room we paid for. We booked a Deluxe Suite but after one night were forced to move due to renovations and were downgraded in a much smaller room. The hotel is clearly mid-renovation with construction starting at 7 AM daily and repeated loss of hot water, making the stay very disruptive. The most frustrating part has been the complete lack of management response. We were told multiple times someone would contact us about compensation, but despite several follow-ups over 5 days no one ever did and the issue remains unresolved. This hotel should not have been open to guests during such substantial renovation work.

The staff was very friendly in difficult conditions as the hotel was horrendous. The room was super tiny with no wardrobe, cupboards and no kettle, it was impossible to walk around the bed as it was so close to the wall at both ends. The TV and the heating did not work. There is also a full on building refurbishment going on which makes it very difficult to get to and from the room, and it’s unsafe. There is no bar and no breakfast, I left after one night and am expecting a refund, it’s a terrible place to stay.

It was SO loud. All night. From every single direction. Street noise, late night party people coming and going, stairs, adjacent rooms- you name it we could hear it all. There must be zero insulation in the building. We booked bc it looked so cute on line, the room we got looked nothing like those- it was just a room next to the luggage storage. It was clean, and comfortable bed- but disappointed with the lack of character and lack of sleep was brutal.
