Friendly staff at front desk, meindart and Karim were very welcoming; room was spotless and we were left a welcome gift of stroopwafels, coffee and tea in the room.
Location was perfect in central Amsterdam, near museums and Anne Frank house. Rituals bath products. Highly recommend this hotel!

Extremely Central location, right by the Dam and a short walk to/from Central Station. Room was small but very well-appointed, with a large bed. The bathtub was a nice touch. Excellent noise insulation; did not hear anything from outside. Staff were super friendly. I highly recommend it.

Location of hotel is excellent, but our queen bed room was small, with only a foot from bottom corner of bed and shelving. It was also poorly lit.
An Amsterdam cup/mug which we used for tea in room as hotel cups were small, was stolen/removed from room by housekeeping. There is absolutely no way private property should be removed from room.
This found on our last night, but at 8pm no housekeeping or manager available.
The cup/mug was later sent by post to my home.

I booked a room for one adult and two children with confirmed reservation, yet upon arrival was asked to pay an additional €40 per night for one child because we "requested single beds." This makes absolutely no sense as:
1. My booking clearly indicated the exact occupancy (1 adult 2 children)
2. Any room offered should accommodate this occupancy at the stated price
3. The hotel should have factored appropriate bedding into the original rate
Even more frustrating, the room already had a sofa bed, so no supplementary beds were even necessary! This makes the €40/night charge completely unjustified.
The cleanliness was deeply concerning. Upon checking under the sofa bed, I discovered half-eaten food and debris. This means my children and I had been sleeping above this disgusting pile of rubbish for TWO NIGHTS before it was addressed. While staff did clean it after I complained, this level of neglect is unacceptable.
Overall, the property appears tired and in need of renovation.
One positive note: the waiter at the bar was friendly and attentive, providing the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing stay.

Very nice room and the hotel was walkable (30 minutes or less) from Central Station, to Rijkmuseum, to Bloemenmarkt, to restaurants on Spuistraat, to Anne Frank House. Breakfast buffet was excellent! We really enjoyed the history and the bar next door, with the Delft tile mural.

The front desk were awesome. Friendly and helpful. Our rooms were ready and allowed early checkin. Problems with first room but they accommodated with a new room. I would stay here again. It’s in a great part of city center. Dam square is behind hotel. Only 4 blocks to Anne frank house and Jordan district and 9 streets.

Karim, Ercan and Meindert welcomed me every time I passed the front desk- their hospitality was appreciated! Their suggestions proved to be accurate- saved me time and money when adventuring on my own. Ended up frequenting the restaurant as well for the friendliness of the staff. Perfect location- a hub of all AMS has to offer!
