A warm welcome on arrival. Lovely room in a separate building to the main one. Nice gardens and view from the room. Access to the spa included, but the pool was out of use both days. Charged extra by accident when checking out, but recitifed when phoned.

While I’ve been a huge fan of this hotel and of Utrecht - this stay was marred by a disastrous New Year’s Eve dinner the hotel offered at their brasserie. They touted it when calling us before hand so we thought ok. 400euros for poor service, and poorer food. In fact, we had to leave before complete because of how I’ll we both felt. The food poisoning was so bad we spent the next day (New Years) in bed and had to alter our plans to stay an additional night to recover. When I told reception they “promised to speak to management and pass along and make it right”. Nothing ever happened after that. A shame that such a beautiful property is essentially now seen as unsafe not only by their onsite offerings, but by a staff that does not take the well being of its guests seriously.

Absolutely beautiful and charming hotel. It is elegant, extremely comfortable and well appointed. Centrally located with easy access to the historic center and sites. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Gorgeous restaurant and wonderful breakfast. I will be back!

This was a great place to relax for a few days before heading home. Lovely quaint hotel with everything that you need. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Easy access to walk to shopping and restaurants.
Found that most shops didn’t open till about 11:00 am and closed at 6:00 pm. So plan your shopping around those hours.
Would stay there again!
