Absolutely loved the place we stayed here 6 nights in January 2025 and we will definitely be back in the near future so good for the kids to my ones spent most there time in the pool or down the creek even kayaking the people and staff were awesome and friendly u always had somthing to do to and they even have a small dairy in the reception that was cheaper then most shops and supermarkets

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was great. My unit was a bit dated but everything worked. If you book "Flat 1" be aware there will be people running around upstairs. Didn't bother us much because we had two noisy toddlers anyway but if you want quiet, book a different room. I would definitely rebook at this holiday park in future despite the minor downfalls. The river view is beautiful and Paihia only 5 or 10 min away by car.

My husband was turned away after booking for himself and my 3 young boys, had some car issues and arrived late for check in. Clearly he explained this to staff and the response he received absolutely infuriates me with the sheer arrogance alone. Staff replied with "the chickens are all been put back in the coop, i wont be coming down to check amyone in" Shame !!

we had the unit just beside the office ,facing the road but it was not too noisy.Unit was old but clean enough.Kitchenette a bit small but manageable except for the position of the microwave.Needed to stand on a chair to reach it.

Very reasonably priced. Had a cabin. Kitchen clean and tidy. Plenty of showers and toilets.
Happy to stay there again. River at the back for my teens to swim in. Short driving distance to shops etc.

My partner, myself, my daughter and my two grandchildren staued the night in the sunshine house..
We were attending my mums funeral and it was the perfect place to rest, align, relax and prepare emotionally for the funeral held the bext day..
We were opposite the river which was very tranquil and peaceful..
Our accommodation was perfectly clean and we could not fault anything..
We are thinking to return again for a holiday retreat..

I really liked our room and the activities that were available amazing water view 😍 the surroundings and I must say the two lovely staff that we had meet there and also 😀 a note with my ame on it giving me instructions on where and what considering we arrived so late at night thank you so much for a great stay 😀
