Staff were amazing, service was excellent. Great location to everything. Staff were also helpful with recommendations on places to visit and the best transport options. We stayed for a week and were so impressed we are looking to book in again for our wedding anniversary.

Although two guests checked in, only one bathrobe was provided in the room. There were also no toothbrushes—while I understand that many hotels in New Zealand may not offer these by default, most five-star hotels do provide them without request.
Additionally, the air conditioning was very noisy. Even though we set it to 24°C and on auto mode, the room temperature actually dropped from 21°C (when we entered) to 20.5°C. It didn’t warm up as expected, and there was no clear option to switch it to heating manually. The auto function didn’t seem to work at all.

We stayed there for the night, it’s nice but you can hear the noise from the room above, for example , people walking, dragging chairs very loud noise. Over all it was good
