Hemmingodden Lodge

These are charming cabins in a great spot! They are not accessible for those with mobility challenges but if you’re ok climbing a ladder to a loft it’s so fun! We were treated to northern lights visible from bed ! Communication with the front desk was slow and due to very limited hours this was a bit challenging but worked out ok with digital check in. The restaurant served yummy food, and the sauna is well worth it. There is a grocery store (joker) a few minutes walk away for essentials. Such a great spot to spend a few nights.

Comfortable beds, clean sheets,. towels and bathroom, well-equipped kitchen with dish-washer, spacious apartment with dining table, etc. Free parking close by. Missed a microwave. Could hear people in the upstairs apartment walking at night. Shower cabin a bit uncomfortable for tall people.

Nice location. Great view. Excellent food at onsite restaurant. Easy drive from airport.

I stay at Hemmingodden every time it is available during my travels to Lofoten. Great place, great location-- it can't be beat!

Very much enjoyed staying here! It was in a good location for several hikes and it was so nice to unwind in the sauna after a long day of being active outside. There is no shampoo or soap provided in the shower, just something to be aware of!

The marketing photo (above) is a misleading advertisement. There are studios built on stilts overlooking our accommodation and blocking the advertised sea view. The properties website does not currently show them either. Total misrepresentation and underhandedness

Jarrod at reception was super welcoming and friendly. He offered food, showed us the property, and brought extra bedding.

The lodge was amazing. It was cozy and clean, and host was very friendly and helpful too. Will definitely recommend it to others.

Lovely lodge right on the harbour in Ballstad. Great location to view the rest of the lofoten islands via car. Only 20 minute drive to the beaches at Vik, Haukland and Uttakliev. Accomodation is very cosy, clean and modern. There is a shop only 2 minutes walk away as well as a little cafe. The larger town of Leknes is only about a 15 - 20 minute drive away.

It says check-in before 11pm. But no one stayed in reception when we arrived and no one answered the phone which is the only given contact information. It’s so irresponsible. If the management team won’t be there, at least they have to leave enough information for self check-in. Even Hotels.com cannot reach the property and responded extremely late. I believe Hotels.com should properly validate all information before they accept the property on their app, but apparently they didn’t do it well.

Great location, great host, great services. Almost do not want to recommend this place to make it too over populated by tourists - it’s that amazing! Definitely hoping to come back again.

Hemmingodden está en una ubicación privilegiada con unas vistas excelentes. El apartamento está limpio y es muy cómodo, y el personal también es muy amable. Muy recomendable, sobre todo para amantes de la naturaleza y pescadores.

Accueil inexistant sans aucune information hormis le souhait d’être payé alors que nous restions 2 jours.je passe l’indifférence de l’équipe composée de 3 jeunes totalement indifférents à notre présence.Nous découvrons un logement non conforme au descriptif ( nous pensions avoir un lodge au lieu d’un appartement) ce dernier est accessible uniquement par un escalier abrupt. Le lit en mezzanine n’était accessible que par une échelle dangereuse. Le canapé déployé en lit était inconfortable puis nous remarquons que la bonde du lavabo était mêlée à une large pelote de cheveux et de poils.Enfin, le tarif était augmenté de 10 euros par rapport au prix initial. Nous sommes très déçus de ce lieu qui ne semble parfait qu’en photos. Heureusement que les îles Lofoten sont merveilleuses.

We had a lovely stay at this small, cosy flat. The place is clean and thoughtfully decorated, with a charming mix of old and new that makes it feel both homey and stylish. It had everything we needed for a comfortable night with the family. There’s even a place to charge an electric car, which was a big plus for us. The staff were very helpful and nice, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Later, we returned for a fishing trip.

Mycket bra och trevlig restaurang. Fantastiskt vackert läge.

Jättefin utsikt lugn området och nära mat butik. Bra med köksutrustning. Och stora badrummet. Gott om parkeringsplatser, Toppen stället!

Så fin och mysig lägenhet med en otrolig utsikt!

Kun 1 overnatting og sen ankomst . Men vakker plass, fin rorbu . 2 lyspærer bør skiftes . Skulle gjerne ha vært her lenger.

Bra ställe att stanna för att köra vidare till Reine. Mysig stuga, fast varmt sovrum.
