If i could rate any higher on staff and service i would!! Helana and Ivar were absolutely wonderful in offering help and information! If not for them i would of likely missed seeing the Northern lights (and also possibly my flight as well) Location is also perfect for hiking! With a handful of tracks not too far away!

Room was congested a bit but clean and tidy and kitchen involved. Washrooms were shared and there were many ppl staying during our stay hence were not that clean. Drinking water was provided at reception And Checkin was quite at ease Location was awesome

Not what we were expecting for a Rorbuer because it was not one. Definitely a hostile. The other guests were very courteous about the 10 pm - 7 am quiet time but sharing 3 toilets and 2 showers with 15 other people was not what we envisioned when we read “ shared bathroom”. We paid for two nights but only stayed one and booked an actual Rorbuer farther south. The cost for this place (approx $135/night) was almost as much per night ($136/night) as the Thon hotel we stayed at in Svolvaer, and it was MUCH better. I understand they are two different things but then the price should reflect that. Bottom line do your research, we thought we had done a good job but this item slipped through the cracks because it was at the end of a 6 hour planning day.

We had a great stay, excactly as imagined! However we did miss instructions regarding breakfast, check out etc. Would prefer better instructions pre check in and when checking in. A great place to stay, but do yourself a favor and call ahead of time and order breakfast, and ask what to do when checking out (with towels, linens etc.)

The location is beautiful - right by the water. The place is large and very comfortable. The only thing I would recommend for anyone is earplugs, especially if you have upstairs neighbors that decide to wear boots (or go clog dancing) at 5 am. But that is to be expected with old wooden places. Otherwise, perfect!

Very nice location close to the sea. But the apartment was in bad shape. Lots of broken stuff. The coffee machine was broken. The door handle to the toilet was broken. Bad ventilation inside which made the windows and door soaking wet in the morning. It was cold but not surprising since there was only one small radiator. Bad sound insulation, it sounded like the people on the floor above was moving furniture all night long. The equipment in the kitchen did not meet normal standards. For example there was only one pot and one wine glass. In a three bed room that is. By the way, the pot lid was for a smaller pot that did not exist. Poor cleaning with hair in the beds and dust behind the drawer. The sink in bathroom was clogged and it smelled a bit like moisture damage in there. It was difficult to contact the empoyees. No answer by phone on the day of check out. Overpriced. Half the rate would be more appropriate for this place.
