We were lucky to be on Oslo with pure blue sky weather, wall to wall sun from 6am till 11pm !! The location of this place is amazing, perched on a hill overlooking the whole Oslo area with far ranging views out to the Fjiord. Getting there is a little tricky though but as long as you take the right Tram (11 or 12) and get off 2 stops before the end of the line, all is fine. In the evening the air was crisp and clean. You get a good breakfast here and the whole place is very pleasant.

The stay is bad and there is no room service at all. Breakfast is very poor and its a Studentboliger not a hotel.and I advise not to be choosen again.

Use your money on other hotel. Doesn’t worth to stay: too far from the city centre - 45 min away, taxi is expensive to get there, area is not quiet - construction, loud music up late, basketball ring by the hostel- you will hear all the banging.. room is not equipped with necessities, no hair dryer, no shampoo or conditioner. No safe. We changed this property to Radisson Blu instead, same cost and close to everything. Can’t recommend this property.

Unusual at first but really enjoyed the stay. Room wasn't shared only bathroom and plenty of those. Great to have a kitchen and washing machine in our block. Parking for motorcycle was easy but can't work out why they wanted to restrict our movements by motorcycles perhaps OH&S too cautious. Supermarket nearby also public transport. Breakfast was excellent and enjoyed the capability to have tea & coffee 24/7 also a library and games to use. Also a hostel if member.HiUSA. Would stay again. Helpful staff at reception. Others had a problem in locating but my Tom Tom GPS took me to the front door.

Stayed here away from center to see real Oslo life , before heading to Arctic (Svalbard). Very clean and quiet, other than construction. Good breakfast and wifi. Did leave a day early as the construction blasting was a bit noisy - unfortunate , but this is a one off, not normal. Will stay again next summer if here.

Very nice place, had a single room. The building was all new and fresh. Clean an spacious rooms. The breakfast was a bit simple. Only downside is the distance to centrum and a long walk to public transportation.

This is a high school boarding house used as a hostel in the summer. Though it is New, it is minimalist. Though I don't hostel often, they don't give soap, and gave 2 hand towels to shower with. Was an I interesting walk to my room. The breakfast is ok, though no free coffee. You have to walk up hill about 200m to a bus stop unless you rent a car or get a taxi. The bus takes you to Storo from which you can tram or train (metro) to downtown (centrum/oslo s). If you stay put late, there is a team that runs til almost 2 as the bus stops at midnight. The hike from the tram station is steep uphill, took me 20 minutes and I'm a fit 5k runner. For the price, I've had better, mind you I have not stayed anywhere else in Norway.

Sehr modernes Hostel. Großes Zimmer mit Bad. Geräumige Küche mit allem was benötigt wird, Waschraum mit mehreren Waschmaschinen (Waschmittel vorhanden) und ein Trockenraum mit Wäscheständern. Das (junge) Personal ist sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Parkplätze vorhanden. Liegt etwas weiter vom Stadtzentrum entfernt aber bequem mit Bus und Tram erreichbar. Parken in Oslo ist extrem teuer. Empfehlenswert!
