Topcamp Hallingdal - Ål

I made reservation a day before arrival. I confirmation it was written check in time is from 3 pm to any time. We arrived a 22:30. Checkin was closed. No keys were left for us. We were forced to stay and sleep over night in the car. This is not a hotel and not even a place you can trust for overnight. We are with 3 children overnight in a five seats car. This is a big shame for this hotel and for hotel.com. Even the emergency number of the hotel was not active. We tried to do tater the security . No one was answering. Very bad in case someone needs help.

Smelling of sewage overflow, dirty, broken furniture, lights not working, no attendant, fire wood and burner not available, dishwasher was not emptied, no tea .....in nutshell pathetic and regrettably bad

The stay was horrible. It was snowing and such a big hotel but no one at the reception.The wifi password given was incorrecr. Water was coming feom the window and thw roof. Frewzing cold and no firewood or firelighter provided. No one to contact as the phone provided was going to security.

Its 2nd time we stayed here. Perfect place for short stop or longer period.

Amazing view. Easy and best in class to check in/out online! Good parking just in front of cabin. Good kitchen utensils selection, good storage, warm floors in main social room. 25 min drive to Geilo if you want to go skiing there (we did). Clean and modern look as in pictures.

The place is a super location and concept perfect. But it needs some better cleaning. Also not good thatbthe restaurantnis not open for meals andvthere is no reference to this. Even when we spoke to the main switch board they had no idea about the openi g times if the restaurant. They thought it was open.

Je pensais avoir loué la cabane sur pilotis car c'est la photo qui apparaissait sur l'annonce. Ce qui n'a pas été le cas. Je n'ai pas trouvé très clair l'information nous indiquant quelle logement nous était attribué ; Nous sommes arrivés en fin de journée et nous avons appelé le numéro de téléphone qui nous avait été communiqué pour avoir des renseignements sur notre logement mais personne n'a répondu. Nous avons finalement trouvé notre logement après un petit coup de stress. L'ouverture n'a pu se faire que par le lien reçu sur notre smartphone, nous n'avons pas pu récupérer de clés à l'accueil dans le casier prévu à cet effet à l'aide d'un code PIN qui ne fonctionnait pas. Au niveau équipement, il y avait très peu de couverts (3 fourchettes, pas de couteaux, 1 cuillère à soupe, pas de petites cuillières), nous étions 4. L'état des lieux n'avait vraisemblablement pas été fait ; Nous avions prévu de diner sur place + petit déjeuner.

Betaler mye penger og må re opp seng selv, savner laken med stretch. Knot å re opp køy seng. Absolutt Alt av service sto inni oppvaskmaskinen da vi kom. Urimelig at vi skal tømme en full maskin når vi kun har brukt 4 fat og glass til frokost. Tv virket ikke

Communication was slow and inefficient (they only replied a message in three days or so). Arrived late on the day and already told the camp site, then found that they didn’t provide the self check-in code as they thought payment was missing. Contacted hotels.com staff who was so nice to fix that. Upon checking in, the amenities were on a rather self service basis, That’s not too much of a problem, but we didn’t expect to put together even the beddings by ourselves by paying not a cheap amount of money. Used utensils had to be cleaned by ourselves and trash had to be disposed of by ourselves too.

Despite the people working there are nice, it is very difficult to get the reception which was open only until 4.00pm and closed during the weekend... so if you have an issue and you need help, it is complicated. Otherwise, fine.

Når vi kom var det møkkete på rommet, masse lange hår i sengen og på soveromsgulvet. Badet luktet utedo. Mulig helt tørre rør. Tv fungerte ikke. Bra service.

Egentligen så hyr du någon annans stuga, var inget info om det. Dom hade kvar sina privata saker i stugan som deras jackor, skor, tandborsten och barnens leksaker. Lakanen var smutsiga som vi bytte själv. Hade varit bättre om det var som ett vanligt hotell men annars var det fint och mysigt ställe.

Kunne vært noe mer følelse av hotell opphold, ikke sengetøy i en pose, all varme slått av etc

Hallingdal feriepark var et supert sted for store og små. Kjempe kjekt opplegg med masse å gjøre dagen lang. Flotte hytter og flotte plasser for camping med telt eller vogn. Anbefales videre!
