Mapigarden b&b

The property is new, about one month into operation when we stayed there. Just the room we used did not have a window, which is a little minus. Location just above the train station, very convenient. Host very friendly and helpful.

Our stay at Mapigarden b&b was good overall, and I would book it again - it's a great value for the price. Things I liked most: 1. Value; 2. Location - right next to a breath taking mountain, which we could see right out our window; 3. Location - close to the train station, so access was very convenient; 4. Service of the staff was great. Three things I liked least: 1. VERY IMPORTANT: address that showed up on hotels.com website is different from the physical location. Given that Machu Picchu is a small pueblo in general, I was still able to find the correct location. However, I did spent about 30 min wondering around and asking locals for directions (which were all conflicting of course) 2. Location. Being close to the train station has both advantages and disadvantages. Local trains like to stay at the station for anywhere between 10-30 min, idling their engines. As a result, every time a train was at a station, we had diesel/engine exhaust smell in our room. It may be less of an issue on other levels, but we were on 2nd story. 3. WiFi was pitifully slow or disappear at all sometimes.

The cable did not work. The water shut off in the middle of my shower. The breakfast that was supposed to be from 5-7 (so you could catch the early bus to Machu Picchu) just wasn't there. The hotel has an open central staircase and the rooms have doors with an open area at the top where there should be a window. As a result, all of the noise from the whole place filters up through the staircase and into the rooms. The hall light shining right through the open space at our bed didn't help either. They ended up not charging for the room, but I would rather have paid and gotten a warm shower, a good night's sleep, and breakfast.

El establecimiento se encuentra adecuando la planta baja para un bufet y nueva recepción , que seguramente lo hará más cómodo y placentero, como todo lugar con alguna reforma crea pequeños inconvenientes que los responsables saben disimular y ponerse al servicio de los huéspedes, la ubicación es muy conveniente y hay mucha buena onda de parte de los responsables ante cualquier requerimiento¡¡¡¡ recomendable

A equipe do hotel é excelente, fiz um check in tardio e mesmo assim que trataram super bem, além disso me ajudaram com meu passeio, enfim, muito satisfeito. O hotel fica ao lado da estação de trem muito bem localizado, a única ressalva é o café da manhã que não é ruim, mas poderia ser melhor.
