Ascendo Suites

My stay in ascendo was pleasant and good. The ac room was clean and neat, fresh new linens, with furniture and flat TV screen. It was convenient to stay because it's located along malvar road near puerto princesa airport, pasalubong center and different restaurants. They serve delicious breakfast. Ms. Baby receptionist was pleasant and accommodating. Downside only is weak WiFi connection in my room.

The staff were friendly though when i arrived there is no one in the reception area so i kept on ringing their bell and after almost 15 minutes when i rung their bell non-stop that someone came put to assist me.. the room A/C is not quite cold. i guess it's high time to check it. the wi-fi is not good when you are in the room. you need to be in the lobby to be able to have access on it. also, there's no service water and soap. nonetheless, the area is convenient because it's accessible to anywhere and near the airport. you can take a tricycle outside the premise of the airport and can pay only 20 pesos.

There's always nobody at the front desk! There is no shower room.

It takes a lot of time checking out since no one is around at the counter, and the bedding was dirty.

Overall stay was good, but they should have prepared our room right away. And remind the staff to always smile. They were frustrated when they saw us check-in at night because there was no available clean room. Also, the free breakfast was not delicious. Maybe it was free for a reason. The gate also must be opened and not padlocked. In any cases of fire, it should be always passable. We had to call their landline via cellphone just to ask them to open the padlocked door.
