Right on the beach, close to lots of restaurants and shopping, right next to D'mall. The only thing that kind of stinks is that it's so far from the main road and tricycle drop off point, if you have a lot of baggage you have to lug it a long way, that's not really their fault. They did have someone bring our luggage to the street in a large cart when we checked out. Free breakfast was delicious and lots to choose from but not buffet. Aircon worked great. Wifi was good. Hot water not bad. Quiet at night. Price was very affordable. Highly recommend.

Good location and spacious apartment. Mosquitos could be an issue. Double room with beach view is on the 3rd floor and not too noisy (for me). Wifi is non existent upstairs. Would have been better also if they can provide service water at breakfast. Can't understand why u have to pay even for drinking water.

We stayed in a very simple room, but it was perfect for a short getaway. The room was a spacious bedroom with a private bathroom and shower. The bed was comfortable, and the property gets top marks for cleanliness. We spent most of our time at the beach or shopping and dining in Boracay’s D-Mall district, so the room was perfect for our needs. AC, wifi and other amenities were very good. We also enjoyed the breakfast. The menu is limited, but everything is prepared fresh for you.

The resort is located at the beach front and very close to D'Mall Boracay. Free continental breakfast is okay. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We just like the feel of staying in a cottage in the island with clean and comfortable beds.

Very good location. Staff was pleasant and the breakfast was good. Refrigerator was well stocked with refreshments. Rooms were average. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and you basically get zero amenities. No hand towels, no shampoo, no shower mat to step on after your shower. We only asked for maid service every other day during our stay so it amounted to 3 times. 2 of the times it was straightened up but not really cleaned well. One of the times it was cleaned very thoroughly. On the third cleaning the maids helped themselves to a bunch of change that was left on the counter. I was going to leave the change anyway. In the reviews I read before I stayed here the mosquito issue was mentioned. Yes there are mosquitoes and they are hungry. The location was good if you want nightlife and your right on the beach. The D Mall was very close if you like shopping and there were a lot of good restaurants near by. I think if I go to Boracay in the future I will stay in a more modern hotel with normal amenities that’s in a quieter location. The Bungalows were rustic and it was an experience that I enjoyed even though I wasn’t totally satisfied. Basically average so I would rate it 3 stars out of 5.

This isn't the nicest or newest place on the island, so make sure you know this before booking. If you're looking for an exclusive resort on the beach, this isn't it. This is a place in the middle of station 2 where it's basically the busiest part of the island. It has a front bar that is packed and loud all night. I booked a beach facing room. Little did i know it would be on the 3rd floor with no elevator. I guess that didn't matter but something you should know. With all this said, this is basically what i came here for though, except maybe the 3 flights of stairs, lol. For what you pay, the room is a good size, location is excellent and the service was perfect. All employees here were great. I also got free breakfast every morning which i wasn't expecting. If you are looking for a pretty cheap room right in the middle of everything, this is the spot.

I dont usually do reviews but I cant stand this place, regretted staying here. First of all, I was born and raised in this island, I speak the language and knows what a good customer service should be. I came here with my family, booked another hotel rooms 5 mins away from this resort to accomodate all of us. The front desk people were rude, did not give us insteuctions about their amenities i,e internet access, towel access, “policy of keys”, etc. Ill begin by saying that the unit I stayed im was dirty, stained and old bedsheets were used, towels had blood stains, rusted refrigerator, found a cockroach on the table and my daughter had bedbug bites or may be dustmites. I have pictures to prove it too. Another issues I had was when my sister thought she accidentally lost the key, the staff told her they dont have a spare key. I personally went and spoke to the front desk and changed their story by saying that they have a spare key but we have to pay 1500 pesos or call the owner to get the room open. I dont mind paying BUT like I said this info was not given to us at the time of check in. I also overheard the staff gossiping about their guests which I thought was very unprofessional. I would avoid staying here at all costs. I was very very disapponted.

Negatives: 1) Wifi was almost non-existent. 2) Toilet bowl does not have a spray hose. 3) Loud music played outside can be heard (not too bad though). 4) No adaptor for 3-pin plug, asked the front desk and was told to buy myself (omg). 5) Had to pay for use of mineral water. Positives: 1) Room was nicely lit with decors (just enough). 2) Aircon was strong and good. 3) Shower heat was not too bad. 4) Cleanliness and beddings were good. 5) Balcony was really nice with a hammock. 6) Location is great at the heart of station 2. 7) Breakfast was good. 8) Room was spacious for the cost. 9) Safe box was easy to use.

Located on a quieter area of Otres 2, there isn't much beach. There are a couple of ok restaurants across the way not much else. Although the have a pretty good menu, and it was pretty decent food. Wifi was weak at best. The pool is not long enough for laps but deep enough for a nice dip in the heat. The service was very nice. The rooms were spacious, but no AC. Wet room style bathroom. There are no toiletries provided not even soap despite what the listing says.

We were travelling for 40 days throughout Southeast Asia and Bamboo Bungalows was by far one of our top resorts. If you're on a medium budget and don't need a super luxurious room with amenities, look no further! Just a 30 second walk from room to beachfront, reserved beachfront for guests with no obstructed view, DELICIOUS breakfasts, what more do you need? The staff is beyond accommodating! The hotel also owns the bar in front, we didn't hear any noise from our room, but if you're in the oceanfront rooms, you may get some noise depending on how good the soundproofing of the balcony doors are.

It was a relaxing experience, with good noise proofing from the outside partying crowd.

It is a very nice venue with little cottages right at the beach. Good for trip of friends, couples or families. Calm and peaceful surrounded by nice tress and plants. Room was comfy. Although, the whole venue is worn out but the location and gardens pay it off.

Excellent location on the beach, friendly staff, very good value. Much lower in price than the hotels in the area.

The location was perfect. In the middle of everything and super close to the beach. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the minibar was always well stocked and at very cheap prices. I will definitely be back here.
