Sights and Sand Inn

Location is good, near terminal & bayan. Room is average. Okay for 1 night stay.

Our stay in Sights and Sand Inn was at average. The location was really so far since we did a land travel. It was 2-3 hours zigzag road travel. We reached the inn at around 11pm, hungry, tired and scared because of the long dangerous road that we took. And we were very disappointed that we were approached by the reception, saying very tactless that our room were already given to other group of people, because they thought that we were not anymore coming?? We were so dismayed upon hearing this! We were booked and it was already paid! How come they will give our rooms to others?? They didn’t even call us. I tried calling and also texted the number in the voucher, but cannot be contacted. I called the two cell phone numbers given and also the number from the voucher, both were not ringing. We booked 1 family room and 1 quad room. In the end, they only give 1 family room, and was given like a transient house (opposite side street of the inn) in replacement of the 1 quad room that they have given to other people. We were very disappointed on the service. Good thing their food was great and has taste. That’s the only consideration we can appreciate.

We had our booking confirmed but arrived at the property and they told us that property is fully booked. We booked and paid this property because of the garden and the photos of the room showed in the site. So we waited as they say, they would figure it out. Fine. Then they moved us to a room across sights and sand inn. The room was dirty. The bathroom is located outside and it’s filthy! The garbage was still there and they haven’t even emptied it. It was full of garbage. There were no running water in the bathroom sink. The kitchen is so dirty and they left unwashed glasses in the sink. Also, room is very open outside from the street and it could very noisy at night. It was a horrible stay.
