The photos they have up are much nicer than the actual room we got. The room was very outdated , the toilet seat in the bathroom was coming off, the faucet in the kitchen was bearly hanging on to the sink. Sheets were clean but when the pillow accidentally came out of the pillowcase i was debating if i should even put my head on it, it was ancient and falling apart. We were disappointed and would not recommend.

We wanted a decent base within walking distance of Zakopane town centre and that's what we got. The room was large and well-kept, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The view from our room was second to none. My only gripe was the flimsy curtain, which would have had us up at 4am every morning with the light had we not brought eye-masks. Particularly good place for families as convenient yet quieter (and presumably cheaper) than town-centre apartments.

Breathaking view of the mountains from the balcony. Modern, clean and ample apartments within 15 min walk from the Gubalowka hill tram station, folkloric market and beginning of Krupowki street. 6 min from a well stocked grocery store and an excellent restaurant called Sopa. All at a bargain price.

The building of the apartment is very old, historical. Location was perfect, half way between the Wawel Castle and the Sukiennice. What we didn't like was the maintenance of the apartment. As clean as it was, it definitely required some TLC. The windows were so old, they were making noise throughout the night with wind blowing in between which definitely affected the sleep for all three nights. The noise was also coming from down the street as the cleaning (?) crew arrived to open the gate at 6am. The apartment was lacking basics, like toiletries and additional toilet paper. No directions where to empty the trash can when it got full. Also, the description of the apartment was misleading. I thought we have booked two bedroom apartment for four people, but it was one bedroom with a small living room that had a pull out sofa.

Apartment was big and spacious in the ground floor, only downside was it was next to the steps to other apartments and smokers were standing outside our entrance to smoke and children chapping the windows and looking in, we had to keep our blinds down at all times Breakfast was ok, but at 40zl for 2 people per day its a bit steep for what they have to offer. Rude awakening at 6am in the morning by the baker slamming his car doors and being as loud as he could My advice - avoid apparent 2 if you want peace and quiet

terrible terrible terrible Zakopane was amazing unfortunately my stay @ apartmenty jan was the most horrible experience that I have ever witnessed. I am still waiting on payment to my account after paying cash ,,, Before my stay I was contacted & held to ransom if I didn't pay one night by visa & not my debit card which I secured the booking on it would be cancelled. I am still waiting on my money to be credited into my account that's is almost 16 days ago. I am also pretty sure that I was overcharged for the room also which I am looking into @ the moment Stayed in room 6 which is not to be mistaken for apartment 6 as it does not exist, one replacement set of towels in 6 days & bedding not changed also
