Very nice room with comfortable bed. The included breakfast had a large variety and was very good. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the train station which is convenient for arrival and departure as well as the bus to morski oko. It’s about 20 minutes to the funicular and the walking street

Had a perfect time, great customer service

It takes only ten minutes to walk to the city center, or to the public bus station to go to different attractions. The transportation is convenient. There is a supermarket and different restaurants nearby, and is just next to the water park, making it ideal for family stays.

Great customer service and a beautiful hotel

Everything was great. However, access to the water park area is not included in the price. And evidently the only semi-mention of that is “surcharge” in parentheses when you look at the “family friendly” tab. It definitely didn’t mention that the water park is a separate entity and people from the street can just buy admission as well. Seeing as Zakopane is a tourist town, I think that these things should be more clearly listed. I’m not sure who makes the listings- whether the hotel or Expedia- but whomever does it, needs to make sure it’s clear. In the US- this would be the same as getting a room at Great Wolf Lodge and then finding out you had to pay another $60/per person to use the water park. 😒

Booked 2 nights stay at this hotel,great location, 10 minutes walk max up a slight hill from the railway station.Lovely room with balcony mountain view.Did'nt eat in as it has many eateries nearby.Its located next to the Termy Zakopane pools,where you have direct access level 2,you get a watch and this times you ,1 hour 39 zloty or can get unlimited for the day for more,added to your hotel account.Robes and towels for the swimming or spa.Complimentary water and hot drinks but mini bar payable.Very comfy beds,a/c.Stored bags after checking out in a room while waiting for our train to Krackow.Would recommend

I thought I would check out the hotel as it was new and it was indeed modern and clean and the breakfast was good but that’s about it. We got a very small room with two single beds (the room was also prepared for 3 people for some reason) that were very narrow and so I was afraid I will tumble off while turning at night. The patio looked out on the trees (no mountain view) and offered no privacy. My parents got a better room with balcony and nice views but two days in someone walked into their room saying it’s their room (!). Apparently someone made a mistake at the reception but in all my years of travel I’ve never had some other guests entering my room! And shortly after my parents had to go to the reception because their key card was not working as a result. Finally, parking is charged at 80pln per car per day which is way above prices in the area (should be 20pln max). We parked nearby for 10pln per day per car. Overall, I’d definitely not stay again, I’d rather pay a little more and go back to a nearby hotel where you get value for money. Maybe it’s okay for 1 or 2 night stay but not for longer trips like ours.

As promoted, Hôtel Aquarian is a very family orientated establishment. For that reason, as an elderly single man travelling alone, it probably was not the best choice. But that is my fault not the hotel.

The room was very small for 3 people. No space to move around. Everything else was good, very nice staff, easy access to the thermal baths.

This is our third visit and a favorite of our kids when we are in zakopane. We take full advantage of the attached water park each time. One thing that was different this visit is that our room reservation did not include breakfast. This caused confusion and and uncomfortable atmosphere when we did arrive at the restaurant for breakfast as we were questioned several times if we were aware that we had to pay additionally (we were, we were explained this at check in, and requested to have breakfast added for all in our party for both nights of stay). Still, we were stopped and questioned each morning at the restaurant. This should be handled better. Would definitely recommend double/triple checking your reservation to ensure this is included or calling the restaurant ahead to avoid confusion and embarrassment.
