Great stay! Host did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Greeted upon arrival and showed rooms. Food was excellent(breakfast and dinner). Clean and comfortable rooms. Would recommend for anyone staying on north side of island near some of the best hikes!

Host Teresa was wonderful and made our holiday in Madeira. We will most definitely return. We loved Madeira from the moment we landed to the time we returned. This is an amazing place for those who wish to explore the north coast of Madeira and stay in a very comfortable, quiet setting. The service and attentiveness of the staff here is top notch, and you can have all the privacy that you desire. Breakfast is very good and if you want Theresa to prepare dinner for you then you just let her know ahead (that morning) and you will not regret it! She is a very good cook and it’s affordable and delicious. There are also restaurants within walking distance and we had a basic kitchenette in our room as well. The location is stunning!! Highly recommended!

The hotel was good for the price. It's far from everything so a car is recommended.
We stayed at one of the smaller rooms without balcony. The room itself was fine, but very cold and heaters didn't work proper, because it's most likely not isolated. The humidity was alao high, so difficult to dry towels etc. and the pillows were filled with house dust mites, so if you have allergy, I recommend bringing allergy safe covers and medicine.
The host was really nice and welcoming and really helpful if you have questions.
