Very nice cute boutique/residence type of hotel. Hot tub could have been warmer.

I was disappointed when I got to this hotel. We spent over $400 for a one night stay. I had already paid $290 for a one night stay, but realized immediately after booking that I had selected the wrong date. Even though I contacted the hotel immediately after booking to explain, they were super reluctant to help me out and just ignored my communication. Only after leaving a negative review on Google did they contact me to say they would change the date at a cost of $120. When we got to the hotel, the staff was friendly, and the place was clean and nice. However, it appears that the rooms on their website have been created by AI because they don’t yet exist! The three bedroom room we stayed was fresh and clean, but included a make shift bed. It was nothing, however, like the fancy cabins on their website that I was hoping for when booking. The breakfast was nice and fresh. We arrived early and paid for our first breakfast. It was $20 per person, even for kids which seemed over-priced given how much you can eat quality food for in the local area. The jacuzzi was like warm and pretty boring, and the pineapple tour was short and mildly interesting at best. I wouldn’t completely discourage anyone from spending a night in this hotel, but no one should pay more than $200 a night per room, and it’s not family-friendly. I would ask the hotel to change their website to have photos of the current rooms in the hotel, and to get rid of those that seem to be created by AI.

The hotel is so clean and beautiful. The beds are very comfortable and the hotel staff were amazing. We ate at the onsite restaurant twice, it was so convenient and delicious. Highly recommend!

Really lovely place with very nice people. The service was impeccable. Very stylish & nice design. The food was very good compared to all other places we were at.

Stylish, well maintained property with friendly service. Highlight was the breakfast spread capped off with excellent expresso by the host. Spacious room with nice shower. A small problem with the thermostat. Maybe add a full length mirror. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

This is a super cute and unique place! We loved breakfast and the dinner options. Having the pineapple greenhouses right there to explore was great. The massage in the pineapple garden was fantastic! Would definitely rebook!

Everything was fine

We had an amazing time! The grounds are beautiful and well kept, and the room was comfortable and had all the basic necessities. We ate breakfast every morning at the hotel, which was free. We ate dinner once, but it was one of my favorite meals of the trip! I would highly recommend!

This is a boutique b&b place and a beautiful property. It’s a little pricey we thought as it feels like they are still trying to figure it out. We had some issues with our room (or the aircon system) having a mold smell. The manager responded fast and sorted out a cleaning of the system. We very much enjoyed our dinner - great food, however, the staff was all very new so didn’t know what wine they had or much about the dishes. They were very friendly though.

Charming, a lot of thought and care was put into it. You can experience “real life” in the Azores on a pineapple farm away from tourism.

We had an extremely pleasant stay at Herdades do Ananas. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was exceptionally great. I would recommend having dinner on the property for at least one of your evenings here. The food was better than any of our other meals on the island. The staff spoke English and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I have to give special thanks to Edgar, who served our breakfasts and gave us a tour of the property-with an explanation of how they grow pineapples in the greenhouses there. He always went above and beyond in helping us. It is a little distance from the city center, but we liked the peace and quiet in this setting. Also, it’s an easy taxi ride to the city center or a lot of guests rented a car— and there is plenty of free parking. Highly recommended!

Quaint property on a pineapple plantation just outside of the city. The rooms are clean and a good size. The entire place is gated so it felt super safe and secure. Edgar was fantastic - super friendly and took great care of us…. Even arranged a to go breakfast box for us on day of departure since we had an early flight out!

Fantastic stay with fantastic Azores hospitality! Edgar was great as well. Greenhouse jacuzzi was a little cool but a neat concept.

What an amazing place, comfortable and beautiful. The staff was amazing, kind and over the top on service. Highly recommend this place the breakfast was outstanding and the restaurant in the evenings was fabulous. This is a great location. You can’t go wrong here.
