Located 10 minutes from river in heart of city. Easy to find from Metro (7 minute walk). Staff helpful and polite. Best Hotel breakfast i have ever had.

Great hotel. Friendly staff and quiet room with garden terrace which felt very private. Brilliant location- walking distance to all sites in historic old town. We walked across the bridge to Gaia too. We chose this hotel for its location and because of the outdoor pool and we were glad we did. Higher temperatures than normal meant we could spend a couple of days relaxing at the pool and enjoyed the food at the hotel patio bar/restaurant which was excellent. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

Mercure offers amazing stays. Porto or Paris, both we’ve visited were great. Boutique-hotel feel, fancy but not pretentous, just perfect.

Amazing stay in a very convenient location! Everything within short walking distance which is extra important in Porto where roads can be quite steep. We find ourselves (two girls) safe returning to the hotel at night by walk after visiting to main tourist spots. The room is clean and comfy, will definitely recommend!

Lovely hotel in the center of it all. We were 3 couples and felt welcome and cared for. Wonderful staff and accommodated all our needs with a delicious breakfast each day. Thank you.

Hotel was amazing. Super cute, clean and walkable to main atractions in Porto! There are literally plenty of restaurants as you walk outside the hotel. There is no "front door" drop off/pick up for cars, but you only have to walk 30 steps to get to the main street to be picked up. Overall amazing stay and close to everything.

Lovely hotel, loved the decor, the lobby, the room, the service, the breakfast- excellent! We had a car, so were nervous about parking, yet there was public parking near by. We lucked up with a space near the elevator in the parking lot and walked across a courtyard, crossed the street and were at our hotel. And, the cost was 50% off by staying at the hotel- $20 per night versus $40.

Very pretty, beautifully decorated and perfectly located hotel. The breakfast was lovely, the outdoor eating and pool were perfect and the staff were lovely. And not that big. 100% recommend.

Just back from a 3 night stay here. We were absolutely delighted with our choice the stay at this hotel. The location is perfect; close to everything you would want to see and do. About a 10 minute walk to the river. We had breakfast each morning and this was great as well. Everything you would want for breakfast including some nice local touches. The rooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and spotless. The balcony overlooking the garden was a welcome bonus! Highly recommended! Many thanks to the Mercury Centro Aliados for a brilliant stay!

The rooms are beautiful and a nice size with a terrace overlooking the courtyard. The beds are very comfortable. We were also impressed with the bars downstairs and the live music. There are many spots to relax, read, get some sun, or have a drink.
